  4. I'm still curious about the this one: [Apps] firefox.msi mplayer.cmd dotnet.cmd msnmsgs.msi didn't find anything on that one.
  5. uhm... don't know that one... the only way I can think of is make it a service.. one that starts when closed. there are several programs that allow you to create a service from any application.
  6. I don't know what's so hard about XPlode. I have NO XML knowledge whatsoever.. but looking at the examples did the trick for me... had to use the manual just 2 or 3 times.. and no, I don't think it's written in an user unfriendly way.. what's so hard to understand: <starttag> stuff to do </endtag> translating from 2 to 4 was a breeze too... but timeconsuming since I have a rather large XML file
  7. Maybe this helps. It's an issue of restoring an image, but maybe it helps with creating an image aswell A diskcheck (surface check, yes I know that's a long wait!) is maybe a troubleshoot option.
  8. from http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/system/syspe...ot/bootvis.mspx so I don't think bootvis is a usefull option. what boooggy said: what is your configuration, hard and software.
  9. That's just windows saying it had a critical/unrecoverable failure, created a minidump (if configured to do so) and rebooted. I think it's adviseable to replace the CPU fan ASAP before your CPU is toast.
  10. If this is your CPU fan this is most likely your problem! CPU's and heat don't mix
  11. Heh I know what you mean.. I'm in IT myself... But when GM answers the mails he will probably let us know in this thread or on the board elsewhere.. Sorry for misreading.. I thought you were asking GM for the pwd again

    messenger 5

MSI Problem solved, it was the acrobat reader that gave control back to the install, but wasn't finished yet. But still no go for Messenger 5 I made an iexpress package with messenger.msi in it following: http://greenmachine.msfnhosting.com/IEXPRESS/iexpress.htm but still no messenger 5, but the messenger 4.7 directory is empty, except for one file lvback.gif so something started but didn't finish (?) homiebrah did you install 4.7 or did you exclude it in winnt.sif?
  17. then it isn't added to your server roles

  24. Good idea... guess registryfix is better for killing your reg than fixing it. There are plenty of alternatives though if you want a registry cleaner/fixer
