Owkay.. here is what I did, I opened the MSI with ORCA and removed the key 2 \Software\Microsoft\PCHealth\ErrorReproting\DW\Installed DW0200 and now it installs okay using iexpress. going to try it in SVC-WMS now. edit: SVC-WMS doesn't work If anyone wants the edited MSI files I can post them here (I made a Dutch and English version)

It gives me an error on the registry too, but it isn't installed error is (translated from dutch so might not be exact): eventID: 11406 Source: MsiInstaller

You need to write the xplode.xml yourself, using the manual, and the examples included in the package. The board is also a good source for finding code snippets. I'm a happy XPlode use for quite some time now, so let me know if you need more help. Either here, mail or PM. Preferred here so other can read it too.

can do, but My XPCreate dirs are all filled, in correct order so why make the switch to nlite then?

I personally don't like using something that's maintained by somebody else.. what if he stops doing that? With XPCreate you can keep using it, and adding updates yourself. I don't like being dependent on things made by third parties with use of frequently updated parts made by the second parties. like the winamp MSI and the update pack.

Hi, I''m using XPlode with the XPlodeSelectInstall plugin. When using reg key's it shows a failed in the progress window, displaying a red square and "error: " (yup, just error:, no message) strange thing is reg keys are imported correctly, log file shows no errors, so it's just cosmetic (I think). this is an example line from my XPlode.XML <registry mode="write" display="Display text" desc="Description text" configs="Config1,Config2"> [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer] "NoSMBalloonTip"=dword:00000000 </registry>
