  1. I don't think that shark007 maintains his WMP11 MSI any more, but boooggy's WMP11 Slipstreamer will do the job just as well.
  2. Yes, you can chain install hotfixes silently from a batch file. In fact, it's not a problem at all.
  3. Yes, get the one by yumeyao. By the way, there are loads of - up to date - addons over at RyanVM.net.
  4. On the builds page, see link above, is a slim version. It's an NSIS installer, for silent install use /S (case sensitive).
  5. Even easier, download the addon(s) by vmanda: http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6785
  6. I'm pretty sure that the registry file below will work on Win2k. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 ;Add "Open Command Window Here" to the context menu [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\cmd] @="Open Command Window Here" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\cmd\command] @="cmd.exe /k \"cd %L\"" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell\cmd] @="Open Command Window Here" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell\cmd\command] @="cmd.exe /k \"cd %L\""
  7. I'd advise the one by yumeyao. It's more up to date, and has less issues. Use the Chinese version, also by yumeyao.
  8. Unlike many other services, he leaves the Power Service set to Automatic in all his configurations (Safe, Tweaked & Bare-bones). For a good reason. If you disable the Power Service, it will not only stop all power managment functionality, but also Core Paring, Windows Audio and the Windows Audio EndPoint Builder. So you will have no sound, nor an Audio Driver.

  10. It's all explained in the MSFN Unattended Guide.
  11. No need to double post. Anyway, check this: http://www.blackviper.com/Windows_7/servicecfg.htm
  12. Stop error 0x804FB03C is pretty generic. It can mean: corrupt dll file(s), defunct memory and/or a faulty video card (driver). Also, did you already try to reset the BIOS? And to boot the system with just one RAM module installed?

  14. Go their Builds page, and download the Slim version. Install with /S (it's an NSIS installer).
  15. I don't have a copy of the scripts, but I do release my own version (it's an MSI-based switchless installer/addon).
  16. Having more than one command in DetachedProgram is not supported AFAIK.
  17. For Office, just generate a MST with the Custom Installation Wizard: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ork2003/...1401701033.aspx TeamViewer uses the NSIS installer, so /S should work.

    some OS error

I'd recommend yumeyao's IE8 addon, see: http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7778 The addon by Sereby has some flaws and is outdated.
  19. Some people responded, go take a look. For that, you have to get .Net working, don't you?
  20. 1) No, else you wouldn't get .Net runtime errors. 2) Depends on what .Net distribution you've got installed. Try one of the installers below, they work for sure. http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7696 http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7186 3) Oh, they do. Maybe your source isn't that clean? Or has too many component stripped out with nLite?
  21. Microsoft releases ISO's every month.... see: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913086
  22. This is for Server 2008, but it should work on Vista too: http://www.raymond.cc/blog/archives/2009/0...ws-server-2008/ And here's how to do it with GPO: http://www.nirmaltv.com/2008/08/09/how-to-...-windows-vista/
  23. 7-Zip can extract MSI's and MSP's as well. Unless you still use some ancient version. But MsiX is neat too.
  24. ^^ Indeed. That's what I do to keep it up to date.
  25. Can't you open the MSP with 7-Zip?
