  1. The kit below is more than good enough for what you want it to do (and cheaper too). Mainboard: MSI P55-GD65 CPU: Intel Core i5 750 CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 RAM: Kingston ValueRAM KVR1333D3N9K2/4G GFX: Sapphire HD5850 1GB SDD: Intel X25-M Postville SSDSA2MH080G2C1 80GB (OS/Apps disk) HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ, 1TB (Data disk) PSU: Antec TruePower TP-650 Case: Cooler Master HAF 922
  2. Haven't looked at it, because I don't actually use this app myself. I just made a MSI based installer for it upon request. But I'll see if I can make it use lame on the drop down box. BTW, for faster response better post at Ryan's site, because I don't look that often here.
  3. How to make an INF program addon
  4. Heh, most of the settings above do absolutely nothing for performance. Besides, a lot of tweaks are game specific, there is no "fire and forget" tweak that does it all.

  7. That article is full of BS. MW2 is breaking sales records.
  8. Internet Explorer 8 x64 Addon v2009-10_2 by 5eraph. Internet Explorer 8 for XP/2k3 x86 1.3.1 by yumeyao.
  9. Just import it from your preferred location (cmdlines.txt, RunOnce(Ex), WPI-script or whatever).
  10. With a reg file, like this: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ahead\Nero - Burning Rom\Info] "Company"="My Company" "User"="My Name" "Serial6"="xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ahead\Nero Fast CD-Burning Plug-in] "Company"="My Company" "User"="My Name" "Serial"="xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx" Or use my Nero 6 Lite addon with optional language packs.
  11. Don't count on it with SCSI adapters. More often than not unsigned drivers will fail.
  12. Drivers must be certified. Do you use HostRAID? If not, the drivers you use now will not work. The latest version for use without HostRAID is v7.0.0.6: http://www.adaptec.com/en-US/speed/scsi/wi...32_cert_exe.htm ( I know this driver works, because I use it myself... I have the same adapter).
  13. Your Adaptec SCSI controller... what is the exact model you have?
  14. I've seen that problem once, it was caused by shimgvw.dll not being registered anymore. To fix it, type: Start > run > regsvr32 /i /s "%WinDir%\system32\shimgvw.dll"
  15. All of those have nothing to do with not being able to see/boot from an Adaptec SCSI controller. Make sure the Adaptec SCSI controller is set as the primary boot device in your PC BIOS, and make sure that you've configured your Adaptec card + SCSI drives as well (press CTRL+A to get in the Adaptec BIOS).
  16. Just merge the two Win98 options? You don't list all Win95 versions either.
  17. Win2k Pro is a much better solution IMHO, its more secure and better supported.
  18. You can't really go wrong with an ATi HD 4550. The HD 4550 can send sound through its HDMI output, and it does all others things you seem to want. And the price is good too, only about 40 euro's.
  19. You didn't specify what OS it is, but over time, stuff like System Restore, Indexing Service, etc. eat up a lot of space too.
