The "Winfuture-Updatepack" contains a lot of hotfixes, but also some setups. Not all of those can be integrated with nLite - don`t ask more details, I don`t know. Integration of the Updatepack isn`t support as well. It can be modified/packed as addon, but it will be installed during XP-Setup, not slipstreamed as our Updatepacks. I wouldn`t do this if you run in RAID-0, there is no "really" Data on one-of-two discs. They both stick together with that controler - you might lose all your stuff. You didn`t say if the RAID was/is your system-partition - but after solution I think so. First checks I do in BIOS to see if the RAID is still present and alive. If you were able to boot and get Windows started, I guess of Hardware-Failure. Try to image your partition (if needed) and run Low-Level-Format after that. Re-create RAID and back-image your partition. A fresh Re-Install is even recommended if possible.

Why don`t you load your "Lasst Session.ini" again, run it against a fresh source and delete these addons - that`s the cleanest way.

Maybe DriverPacks.net is the solution, especially "MassStorage".

I`m used to VM Ware 5, really stable, easy to configure, not too bloated - but still expensive. I think some people DO mind about the costs, so here`s another solution. Just choose another folder than Desktop (we pray that every day) and try a fresh run with nLite. The SP3 will be slipstreamed and will increase the size to about 610mb - fits on CD.

The problem with this key results from a bug by working with Vista as hostsystem. This is documented by Microsoft, too: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950722 This means, that this is no nLite-Bug, it occurs even when you slipstream SP3 manually. Use XP as hostsystem, slipstream SP3 with nLite, do all your preferred settings, and you`ll see - everything will work fine.

I think so, yes. Try to enter it manually in a XP-SP3-Installation.

I`ve seen some users made effort with vLite and Win7, other didn`t (like me). We should compare and exchange our tricks and tipps.

Do both routers use the same subnet, for example 192.168.1.xxx ?

I see my ClassicStartPanel without the Bitmap right after fresh XP-Install, Startmenu has height of 6 lines. After I rearrange Startmenu by SFX (adds 6 lines in height) the Bitmaps appears. That`s what I tested. But I checked on another PC - and seems, that you`re maybe right. I`ll check again, but got to sleep now. It`s 4:33 in the morning here in Germany, I`m getting too tired, sorry. Edit: On the other PC the vertikal line isn`t shown at all - it is not black.

On Laptop go to "Map Network Drive", choose a Driveletter, then in that line under this don`t use "Search" - instead you type in manually like this: \\PCNameDesktop\Driveletter\Folder As example on my PCs: \\SERVER\E (whole partition is shared) I had problems with this month ago, I resolved it like that: \\IPAdress\Driveletter Example: \\192.168.2.3\E
