Tralbry, in another thread you were asked about the nLite-licence. I do this again, please make sure if the licence fits with your nLite-use.

So I think I got to correct my Post #7 like this: To get a working "Repair-XPCD" load your "Last Session" you made your XP-Install with, choose only "Servicepck-Integration", at "Hotfixes" choose only MS-Hotfixes or HotfixPacks (delete all other Addons), then intefrate "Drivers", at least let nLite delete "Components". Don´t choose any "Unattended" or "Tweaks", just burn it to ISO. The result should be a XPCD without any "winnt.sif" with full "Repair" & "Recover" functionality. It should contain all files at the same level as your installed XP.

If you really slipstream IE7, WMP11 and your Hotfixes the size of the ISO should`t raise like that. Older files are replaced by newer ones, so there`s no reason why the folders should grow.

The "Full Unattended"-Install and "F6"-Option won`t work together. If you want a "Full Unattended" you need to integrate the drivers as textmode. If you need german support, look my signature.

If I wanted to do a Repair-Install (I never do this) I would have a non-nLited XPCD for this. I`ve done this for only one time, but it worked without any problems.

It`s a well-known bug: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950722 At my "German-WinLite.de" a user came up with a solution: http://www.german-winlite.de/wbb/index.php...p;threadID=1969 It says you got to replace (after nLite) the "pidgen.dll" with the one from the original XPCD (maybe SP2). It didn`t proof that, bur give it a try.

Good News! I think it`s time for release so everybody can see the result. There will be questions ans suggestions at any time of development, so let`s release it to the crowd!

Don`t worry - everything will turn out right. In my opinion only the "Critical Updates" are useful at this time, they include IE7 with his updates. This folder should be about ~65mb, 32 files in it, names should have PTB in it. I´m not really shure if nLite can integrate them all, some Hotfixes are sometimes rejected. But that`s not a real difficulty - you can install them later manually or Windows Update. As Fernando mentioned - every XPCD is not up-to-date within a couple of weeks. Your next step should be integrating the downloaded hotfixes with nLite and burn ISO. I know some users here give advice to run nLite only one time against the source, but at this point we just want to save our work. So choose only Hotfixes and ISO in nLite.

I can`t see the problem in choosing "Language: Portuguese-BR" when you see the Lists. You change the language, click "Download" at "Windows XP SP3 x86" and open the download with WUD. Now the correct list is loaded in WUD, you choose your downloadfolder and start download.

@Fernando 1. You will see the Repair-Option without pressing any key when you choose "Prompt Repair". 2. You will see the Repair Option after pressing F10 when you choose any other Unattended-Option in nLite. Is that right?

I had many problems about last 16 hours to login with Firefox. I changed some settings (keep/delete historie), cleared cache and so on. I wasn`t able to login,then I gave IE8 a try - and success! So I started Firefox again - and success... Actual settings in Firefox: No historie, clear cache on exit.

I can`t find BR-PT UpdatePack, so you need to download the single hotfixes from MS. But don`t worry, there`s a tool for that: Windows Update Downloader And you need this list: http://www.windowsupdatesdownloader.com/do...pe=ul&id=19 Make sure to choose correct language and SP-Level.

This is what you need. It is possible to work with that ISO - I`ve never done before. I thought it was only for Offline-Installation - not Integration. But if you were lucky - okay.

So THIS should be your preferred SP3. You can integrate SP3 in your XPCD first - and only - to get a clean source, It`ll be the source from now on with everything you do. I´m still searching if there`s an UpdatePack BR-PT out there, stay tuned.

I`m sorry to say that Windows-Unattended.de is down since a couple of days. The leaders weren`t online for month, we can`t get in contact with them. Bad news, but I think it`s gone. First of all you could tell us, which language your XP is speaking... Second, we got to know if it is an english version with MUI or a really localized version.
