Well some how you need to get version info. I'd say at least 10% faster on same hardware for reasons mentioned above plus a few others. Though Id say that all depends on your hardware class. Anyways Vista for me at least boots 15% faster than XP. That is to the logon screen. Cant test past that since I cant login yet.
