2. Hey, Sure here you go; http://s54.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2NK8LQO...W22FGLL7S6NV55O Take Care, Will
3. Or me. 224.343 GB in two weeks. Grow to over 80GB a day in last few days. That's like 2.5TB a month at current rate. That is if I were not to grow even more. If I could only afford a dicated server. I would not be offline atm. Speaking of how much bandwidth does msfn use?
4. I'm sure it will be ripped soon, if possiable.
5. Well lets discuss Bittorrent for a minute. Perhaps I can run a trackerless one. For information on trackerless torrents see: http://www.bittorrent.com/trackerless.html Also, see: http://pompone.cs.ucsb.edu/~msa/reading/ma...ov_kademlia.pdf Also interesting: http://citeseer.ist.psu.edu/cache/papers/c...y02scalable.pdf So what do you think of that idea? Speificly, Gurgelmeyer, what do you think about the issue? That is, do I have permission first off, do you even like bittorent, too much of a hasle?, love the idea, would rather do it yourself, etc.
6. Yes for both. I would run my own tracker, but not allowed. At the moment anyways. Speaking of, does anyone with real experience know how much bandwidth, CPU usage, and memory usage running a medium to large tracker uses? By medium I mean a few hundred users at a time, and by large I mean thousands. Thanks, Will Update: Well lets discuss Bittorrent for a minute. Perhaps MSFN can run a trackerless one.

8. Yeah I did. I think they are going to drop the charges sicne they are bs it seems. THey just said another 40gb today when its been offlne for like 24hours so thats bs. Well their cap system sucks. I got it capped at 140GB and it went to 224.322 GB. Which I am trying to get removed. Well some crazy numbers for ya: Figures in parentheses refer to the 7-day period ending Oct 17 2005 at 3:16 AM. Successful requests: 585,093 (50,107) Average successful requests per day: 2,277 (7,158) Successful requests for pages: 120,613 (8,778) Average successful requests for pages per day: 469 (1,253) Failed requests: 97,973 (1,982) Redirected requests: 3,178 (4) Data transferred: 641.64 gigabytes (172.30 gigabytes) Average data transferred per day: 2.50 gigabytes (24.61 gigabytes) Went from 2.5gb a day to 24.61 this week. WOW!
9. OMG, 82490.20 MB yesterday. That's 82GB in one day. Looks like I got the slashdot treatment. Did they post on article or something to my site? Cause that is just crazy!!! It was not updated yet when I posted. s***: Cycle Estimate: 385.479 GB Estimated Charges: $230.48 oh and the cycle estimate is wrong..thats just up to todays date...the real end of the cycle is Novemember 1st... So that will be something like 2227.97GB (that's 71.87GB times 31). So that's 2.2TB of bandwidth this month. so now you know why its offline.... Well I'm dead..... Well if anyone cares to donate, please see willsdownloads.com.... thanks a ton!!!!!!!! If I even consider still hosting this I will be very strict...that is pw protection...and the alike... atm though it looks like my hosting days of hotstream is done.... its just to **** popular and people must have posted it everywhere.... even with hot linking protectiion... Some updated sats: Average successful download requests per day: 14,907 16,679 download requests yesterday Average data transferred per day: 71.87 gigabytes
10. Hey Guys, Well all my bandwidth for the entire month is gone. That's 234.652 GB in 15 days. About 16GB a day average. Well last three days it was over 30GB a day. 90GB in three days. Thanks to donations in the last few months I have been able to stay alive. But this month traffic took off. And I can not afford to pay for more. At the current rate, my host just notified me, that it will cost me another $79.65 for the month. Which I can not afford to pay by myself. So ATM I have no choice, but to close down shop until next month or if I get donations. Sorry everyone. Now that being said, I am working on getting more funding. Take Care, Will

13. Vista Solitaire was back ported to winxp. Of course you need to have a copy of vista to play since he does not include solatire.exe for obvious reasons. Look around. n/m i'll be nice http://www.extended64.com/blogs/rafael/arc...10/12/1421.aspx
14. It's a leeked build. Look in the usual places. Bittorent perhaps.
15. Oh and Windows Vista with IE 7 is not effected. Relized that so installed 7.0 on winxp and it is not effected either on winxp. So only IE 6.0 on winxp it seems. Also, no problem in Win2k or Win2k3. Nor in Win98 SE. Very strange.

18. I'm not sure how we can get different results if we do the same thing...You put the exact same entries in as I listed, via cmdlines.txt and it did something different? I'd really like to see the file you used and how you applied it. Getting different results for the same thing doesn't make sense. When working w/the registry, entries have to be very specific and very often 2 or more keys have to be set together to get the desired result. As an example the following keys look similar appear to do the same thing but if any one is left out or changed, the results will be totally different. HKCU,"SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\VisualEffects","ShowSuperHidden",0x00010001,0x00000001 HKCU,"SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced","SuperHidden",0x00010001,0x00000001 HKLM,"SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\SuperHidden","CheckedValue",0x00010001,0x00000000 HKLM,"SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\SuperHidden","UncheckedValue",0x00010001,0x00000001 HKLM,"SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\SuperHidden","DefaultValue",0x00010001,0x00000001 That's just it, did not test it. Just is what I applied manually on my live computer. Must be some other settings in the registry that I had since applied. Well hope you figure it out. Ok so something like this: ;Add Empty Recycle Bin To My Computer Right Click Context Menu [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\shell\Test] @="Test" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\shell\Test\command] @="{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}" Not working for some reason though and do not get why. But that how you add to just my computer context menu.

20. Very nice! Though for future reference I highly recommand Registry_Tweaks_October_10th_2005 instead of Registry_Tweaks_10_10_05 since not every Country uses the same date format. That is to say someone might think the current files is October 5th 2010 . And I think font:@Arial Unicode MS;size:10 looks best. Just picking.
21. Um ZileXa, me and you seem to be getting different results.
22. I have managed to narrow it down to this bit of code: What I did is this. I saved the index.php page and named it as index.html and all the .js, .css, etc files that it calls to my computer. And opening index.html causes it to refresh and go to the forums. Well I manged to figure out, that the sec I take the code out above from the index page it no longer keeps trying to refresh msfn forum index. Speificly the var ipb_var_base_url one. That is if I change to google.com for example I get taken to google.com instead. Also, in FF and opera I notice the url above ends with something like index.php?s=somecodehere& , but in IE it's only index.php?s=& .
