Country Flags are back. Update members flags running in the background. It will take some time.2 points

You all are entitled to your opinion. As per my observation, this topic isn't that much active at all, and unfortunately @win32is no longer active at MSFN for a long time.2 points

I think, we all are aware that Dave-H is an active github member, so he is notified about the new releases immediately.2 points

Guess Alex has other priorities. His Thorium build for Win10+ is at 128, this caught my eye (source):1 point

Download the setup file (I assume you want 32 bit) from here - https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/releases/download/v126-r5/supermium_126_32_setup.exe That should set everything up properly, it did for me. The only thing you can't do on XP (and presumably Vista too) is use the built-in facility to make it the default browser. This is off-topic of course here in the Thorium thread BTW, if you need further help with setting up Supermium, please post in the Supermium thread.1 point

I just tried to register with a Hotmail address and never received the registration email. Resent a couple of times but nothing. Changed my address to a Gmail account and it worked immediately (although went to spam). Has the site been blacklisted by Microsoft? Do you need to configure an SPF record?1 point

Country flags are reason for template errors. Disabled for now. Waiting on developer.1 point

I noticed a problem with classic Control Panel when StartAllBack's dark mode is enabled: the (keyboard) focus rectangle is not visible at all. This only affects Control Panel, and only in dark mode (in light mode and in high contrast mode there are no problems); it doesn't matter what the view is set to, it happens in Category, Large Icons and Small Icons views. I'd post a screenshot, but there's nothing to show at all.1 point

Or they're just ashamed, afraid to show it, not proud of their country. Anyways, it should be a user's personal choice.1 point

Today, I have found a way to toggle all my CSS stylesheets in the chrome folder without restarting the browser by a mighty user script. So, no need anymore to use the Disable Transitions extension. From now on, I'll toggle all my CSS files via this script.1 point

I forgot there was a thread like this here. I only got notified now that I'm in the process of configuring an email server again and I got some emails now. Basically I had to migrate to another server while I was still in the process of setting it up, which means there's some bugs. Periodically giving an error 500 is one of these bugs. I'm not sure what causes this exactly, but my temp workaround is to cron job restart the server every so often. So if it occurs, the server will automatically restart the process and fix the issue after a bit.1 point

The driver is actually version 10.18.10.5161. It works on Win 7, but SHA-2, KB4490628 and KB4474419-v3 updates are required.1 point

Please stop stalking me and stop replying to my posts, otherwise I may have to report you to the moderators and to the underaged child care services in your country, possibly even police, because those who are under 21 must get a special written permission from the parents to access the internet and make posts, according to your country's laws for underaged children.1 point

Please stop your usual off-topic activities, you even discussed forum software glitches here already, in the mental issues section!1 point

Just a friendly advice, the same I gave you before, you better edit the post and remove the "plotilitians" word (misspeled on purpose) to avoid reports, it doen't offend me or my dad from the same gen., but a user whose name starts with "m" miha89O7 might report you again because he reports everything that even slightly suggests anything political, be cautious, I read you already got a warning,1 point

In Modern English, you is the second-person pronoun, but in your local dialect, which we obviously don't speak, maybe.1 point

Gotcha! You again placed a space before exclamation mark! Why? Are you French? Don't be shy, tell me. "It's a common typo by French (because in French, there is a white space before a question/exclamation mark)" https://english.stackexchange.com/questions/4645/is-it-ever-correct-to-have-a-space-before-a-question-or-exclamation-mark1 point

BTW, we Windows XP (and Vista) users should actually be glad that there are still countries that develop XP-(Vista-)compatible programs. You may think what you want about some countries, but they still use and maintain these old operating systems. In my opinion, that should be appreciated. At least, so I do. And that has definitely nothing to do with politics or any preferences.1 point

Yes, but the latest versions of 360 Total Security Essentials 10 are conterminous with bloatware that installs a so-called Desktop Manager, of course without being asked, and moves all my icons on the desktop. I have already written about that here: In contrast, Malware Hunter has a clean interface without such bloatware, though.1 point

As I already posted in my thread (not everyone is a reader of my thread, of course ), the Root Certificates have been updated and are now from 23-08-2022. Here is a screenshot: https://msfn.org/board/topic/183352-proxhttpsproxy-and-httpsproxy-in-windows-xp-for-future-use/?do=findComment&comment=1224831 Cheers, AstroSkipper1 point

This thread is about Root Certificates and Revoked Certificates for Windows XP. You can update your Root Certificates automatically by using the Certificate Updater 1.6 or manually by using the Root Certificate and Revoked Certificate Updater of 02/24/2022 created by me in section Downloads It works perfectly and is intended to keep your system as recent as possible regarding your Root Certificates. Kind regards, AstroSkipper1 point

win32 says updates should be only up to April 2017. After that decrease in performance happened . Some antivirus "features" added or smth like that, I don't know .1 point

Hello , the guy wrote " I have updated my Vista till Jan. 2020" . Perhaps this is the issue.1 point

Exactly ! I have successfuly launched two very popular programs , though some other tricks of my own were used too (in addition to this wonderful kernel). There is NO way I'm discussing it here. I think it's better you ask questions through mail directly , I mean mail-mail , not here. Just notify me , 'cause I always forget to check it. P.S. Oh , and I think it would be wise to change names , giving a slight hint about the original . They will have no grounds to ban , at least.1 point

You know , actually I'm not surprised at all , esp. with all that what's going on in the world after 2001. I have a suggestion , how about we start to make spelling errors > like "ckhromyum", "gugle" ,I guess they are looking for key-words , aren't they ? What do you about that ?1 point

Whoa , this poor user is banned after giving a good advice ! Someone really didn't like Chromium being able to run on Vista ....1 point

Hi , I've managed to launch Streets of smth 4 (name changed), it loads the main menu and that's it , as soon as I press start the story , it lets me choose the character , but then it crashes and shows the log file. I've replaced my perfectly working Framework 4.5.1 with 4.5.2 and it didn't help. v04-s r10933 CultureNotFoundException Culture is not supported. Hello , thanks for the advice , the thing is - I never said that I (personally) use any Antivirus at all , someone asked and I just said 3.5.1 works because I know this for sure. As for me , I don't trust any "antivirus" . The best antivirus is brain. :-) Don't you agree ?1 point

Greetings, im customizing XP to make more 95 "friendly" Any ideas for better customization are welcome, still working in my XP system to be as much close to 95 as can I restore things like pattern and classic graphics in display properties, classic search, remove internet explorer style toolbar from explorer, customize most dialogs to be close to 95 ones, restore old install/uninstall programs and many dialogs, like new hardware, replace USB safe hardware remove with PCMCIA one to be more close to 95 style, split multimedia and sound control panels, and many other things i did not screenshot...1 point
