  1. "Browser Fingerprint could not be generated". Yet you were arguing it was not related to it, with rather offensive and very personal remarks against D.Draker. Luckily, we are kinfd and forgiving Western European people, so my advice would be to experiment with canvas. Try to generate a fake canvas print. Ungoogled has it. Not sure about Thorium, probably it needs to be started via ungoogled flag from Supermium.

  3. So I started to dig deeper the 385.69 and compared with a usual Vista (non-kernel one). These all are inside of the NVCPL pack. NvUI.dll missing in SHELL32.DLL Shell_NotifyIconGetRect nvWsS.dll missing 345 (0x0159) "N/A" in COMCTL32.DLL nvxdapix.dll missing the following in USER32.DLL GetDisplayConfigBufferSizes QueryDisplayConfig DisplayConfigGetDeviceInfo SetDisplayConfig Do we have all of these in the kernel ? Thanks

  9. I still maintain that it is NOT related to CLIENT HINTS. Citibank's algorithm or reg exp parsing is not working correctly. They are doing something to attempt a fingerprint but it is failing SERVER-SIDE. They are sending different javascript files based on HEADER user agent. The javascript file is not changing with or without Client Hint user agents. It really is a Citibank issue. I'll just stick with v122 until they fix it. They basically HAVE TO fix it because Official Chrome v124 and higher can not log in! I guess it would be HILARIOUS to log in one of these days and see a banner that says my browser is TOO NEW, TO PLEASE DOWNGRADE.

  14. Technically, I never asked for YOUR assistance. Talking to you seems to always always always lead to "strife" of some sort. "Sorry" You "thrive" in the environment that you yourself try very hard to create. I could easily easily easily find a DOZEN posts on this forum where members have "requested" YOU to STOP talking/replying to them. It never works, of course. You somehow always seem to "step in it" with those DOZEN members (on purpose, I have NO DOUBT). It is what it is. Carry on wayward son!

  15. You haven't been listening. I have already reported that even other web sites are reporting this bank's login issue. It is something on THEIR end. Nothing YOU can do about it. I'll wait it out a few days and try again. I'm certain that THEY did not INTEND for their "improvement" to block THE MOST RECENT VERSION OF CHROME. Which happens to affect MISCELLANEOUS versions, be it Thorium or Ungoogled or Official Chrome. Again, NOTHING FOR YOU TO DO. I thought I made that part clear.

  19. You confuse spelling with typos. On English KB, "i" and "o" are next to each other, you probably don't know that, so I simply hit the wrong letter, I'm a fast typing kind of a guy. I admit I did a typo, sorry. But it's not like when folks don't know the difference between affect and effect, steal and steel, there and their. For you, I'll try to type slower, got that. No need to get personal. My goal is to broaden my flat to the whole floor of 6 flats, it's for now, so I work hard to get the money. You still didn't answer my on-topic question. 20. Your checking site tells "Requires Chrome >as low as 84< or equivalent". Who's right now? Whatever you may think, they still make a fingerprint, even if we assume Client Hint was not chosen by default in 86 or 94. There's another interesting matter, I wonder of those are blocked in either of these browsers. https://browserleaks.com/rects

  21. Client Hints discussion is pretty much on-topic since win32 promised to get rid of them, evidently, it still didn't make it out to the release. But I trust it will. I trust win32. That's what goblins in the original Sacred screamed at me. Please stick to the original, it's "by", not "next". Developed, invented and copyright protected by our dear friend @Jody Thornton, whom we love more and more with each passing day, one of the rarest proper spelling people, along with AstroSkipper, Dave and win32. Me, of course.

  23. Thorium is reacting identically to Ungoogled Chromium as far as my banking login web site. Though it is off by ONE release. In Ungoogled, I had to increment upward in versions from v94 and increment all the way up to v122 before I could log in (with the BS banner about my browser being outdated blah blah blah crap). It is the v122 that misled me into thinking it was Client Hints (I disable in v94 through v121, I had to resort to Proxomitron for v122). Thorium will not let me log in on v97, v114, and v119. But does let me log in on v121 - so one version prior to Ungoogle v122 successful login. Ungoogled will NOT let me log in on v126 (with or without Client Hints disabled). Thorium does not have a v126 yet. Did not try Thorium v122, v123, or v124.

  25. Comodo Firewall Pro 2.4.18.184 Comodo Firewall Pro has an easy to use and intuitive GUI which is suitable for both advanced and novice users. The selection of wizards make sure novice users will face no difficulties in managing vital security configurations. Advanced users and experts can fine tune Comodo Firewall Pro using its extensive configuration options. Comodo Firewall Pro is now freeware (it comes with lifetime free license on installation itself) and, of course, fully compatible with Windows XP. Features (listed in the manual): Network Protection: Comodo Firewall Pro, although designed for personal use, includes an industrial strength stateful inspection firewall, acting at OSI Layers 2, 3 and 4 to filter incoming and outgoing network traffic. Such an advanced filter keeps track of each and every packet sent/received and performs intelligent analysis on critical protocols such as TCP, UDP, FTP etc. Comodo Firewall Pro also detects and prevents DOS/DDOS attacks including: • SYN/UDP/ICMP Floods, • TCP/UDP Port Scans, Upon facing such an intrusive attack, it switches to an emergency mode by creating some automatic rules and updating its internal states according to the attack behavior, to secure the host against it until the attack ceases. Users will not notice such a change in terms of functionality but will remain protected. Quick Features: • Advanced TCP/UDP/ICMP and IP protocol filtering • IP fragmentation handling • DOS/DDOS resistance and handling • Stateful TCP/UDP Protocol Inspection Application Protection: Although the network protection is adequate to defeat the most of the network based attacks, today’s threats require highly sophisticated application based access filtering mechanisms to enforce true host based security policies. Comodo Firewall Pro provides a powerful application firewall which is one of the best application filters available in the market. Restricting network traffic according to the application which generates it, requires filtering at OSI Layers 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. Application Filtering: Comodo Firewall Pro provides full control on applications’ networking behaviors. Application firewall can: • Limit applications network access characteristics such as port, protocol and host. • Give users the ability to control number of connections per minute an application can create. Leak Resistance: Unfortunately, malware programs are evolving rapidly. Many of such programs employ very advanced techniques to conceal their malicious activities so that they easily bypass the standard protection mechanism provided by the most personal firewalls. These techniques are commonly known as “leak” techniques. Comodo Firewall Pro passed ALL LEAK TESTS with an outstanding success rate not seen in any other firewalls available. Although passing the known leak tests are often enough to provide you a robust protection, Trojans do not have to limit themselves to these known techniques and they always try to find new ones to cheat the protection mechanism you have. Due to this fact, Comodo developers constantly research to improve our firewall to keep you protected at all times against emerging and unknown threats. Benefits quoted from the homepage: Constantly monitors and defends your PC from internet attacks Free maintenance upgrades Gain complete control over which programs are allowed internet access Stay protected against new threats via automatic online updates Real time traffic monitoring enables you to react instantly to threats and identify bandwidth bottlenecks. Easy to use interface and quick setup No license fee - complete protection at no cost for networks and home users Version history/Release notes: Homepage: https://web.archive.org/web/20070215084752/http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/ Version number: 2.4.18.184 Date of release: 14.02.2007 System requirements: Windows 2000, Windows XP Reviews and tests: https://web.archive.org/web/20070301011725/http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0%2C1895%2C1969515%2C00.asp https://web.archive.org/web/20070228161335/http://www.matousec.com/projects/windows-personal-firewall-analysis/leak-tests-results.php https://www.comodo.com/news/press_releases/31-05-07/ Download links: https://web.archive.org/web/20070806133356/http://us2.download.comodo.com/cpf/download/setups/release/CFP_Setup_English_2.4.18.184.exe https://www.filesoul.com/software/Comodo-Internet-Security/Comodo-Firewall-2-4-18-184/ Manual: https://personalfirewall.comodo.com/Comodo_Firewall_Pro_2.4_User_Guide.pdf Screenshots: Comodo Firewall Pro 2.4.18.184 is a very old firewall from 2007. It surely was a good firewall at that time. And maybe, it is even today. A very positive point is that this version is totally unbloated, though. The installer size (English version) is only round about 5 MB. This Comodo Firewall version was very often recommended by users, but it unfortunately lacks modern features as, for example, IP6 support. This feature was only introduced starting with the version Comodo Firewall 5.3.174622.1216 from 2011. That means Comodo Firewall Pro 2.4.18.184 is only an option for those users whose internet provider does not offer or does not use the Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6). Due to its age, the potential users should carefully test this version in their Windows XP system whether it is still properly working even in these days as no one here reported any detailed test results or current experiences in using it. And as already explained in previous posts, I couldn't test this version, and I won't do it either. Personally, I think this firewall could still be an option in these days, but exclusively for the users of the Internet Protocol Version 4 (IPv4). If anyone needs the German version of Comodo Firewall Pro 2.4.18.184, please post the request here in the thread! Cheers, AstroSkipper

  26. I have no use for a "patch". I can fake Client Hints via PROXOMITRON - the Swiss Army Knife of the internet that seems to be "over the head" and "too complicated" for most MSFN members.

  27. Ok. In any case, it was an incoming connection at the local port 3389 and blocked by Avast. The corresponding service was disabled by you anyways. And Avast did its job. So, nothing bad could happen. Personally, I always disable all remote features from the very first. To use a properly working firewall which reports all blocked incoming and outgoing connections is mandatory and as we can see necessary and meaningful.

  35. I don't care what they write about user serviceable parts of Chrome. Under the bonnet, it was the same ol' Chrome. In 111 they made drastic changes, so it wasn't possible to run it even with Ex-kernel (vista and 7, both). That was one of the reasons for starting Supermium, as per win32's words.

  37. I think you confuse 110 with 120. 110 works on Vista pretty well, and that only with API redirects/stubs. Starting 111 is only where they began to fiddle/mess with memory functioning and Dwrite.

  38. No. Maybe that's what you want. But that has nothing to do with reality. One can only suggest something that exists. No. Kaspersky is spyware. Nothing is good there. This can be read in their own documents. That's it. Dr Web is simply trash. Never read any good about it. Not true. Very risky.

Or, you use extensions to add search engines as, for example, the one I already described here: https://msfn.org/board/topic/183657-mypal-68-in-windows-xp-custom-buttons-and-extensions/?do=findComment&comment=1254846 And you can add new search engines by clicking the green plus icon in the search bar only if the current website offers to add it, of course.

  43. For me, the logger works in Mypal 68.14.1b with uBlock Origin 1.57.2 (tested in single-process mode) as it should. I can log every website and am able to select all results or the results of each opened website by clicking onto the corresponding entry in the logger's address bar.I don’t have to click right anywhere in the logger window, Could it be that you are simply using the logger incorrectly? Here is a little tutorial: First, start the logger. Then load pages. Now, select the window inside the address bar of the logger you want to observe. You can only observe pages in the logger that have been loaded before, of course. Cheers, AstroSkipper

  44. No, I do not use the property window.status. The script code for creating such a status bar has not grown out of my own hands, though. I simply took over an old script which is still working in Mypal 68. TBH, there are a couple of scripts but most of them are not compatible with Mypal 68. My part was finding working code. And that wasn't so easy due to the age of Firefox 68. Many scripts targeting this Firefox version have been lost or replaced by newer ones. However, I modified the css file for exact placing the status panel onto the status bar by myself. And the css file I am using is much more modified and exactly adapted to my browser, in which I also made changes to the interface font. This file is therefore useless for other users.

  47. Maybe, I also have a feeling, my BIOS is watching me . Jokes aside, I can't update the default 32-bit Vista on that PC. While I absolutely can the 64-bit version. Weird, right ? The only way for me is to sign the drivers, doesn't matter whether the kernel installed or not.

  48. 1 - You did not !??! Ho do you load the patched files then ? For me, is no way to load without the signing . I mean, I know you're a magician, but still... Is there a secret ? All of the commands are simply ignored in all cases on my PC. I went across plenty of articles saying this. 2 - Maybe we should try another driver then ? Somewhere between those two ? Say 385-388 smth. On the other hand, today I tried the modded 382.16 (Microsoft version) and it froze with the panel again, if I take the panel from 378.78 and install with 382 - freeze again, no panels - works fine!
