The stylesheets are not intended to be installed completely. You choose what you want to change and what you like. I only use a very few of them. Custom CSS stylesheets must be permanently adapted to new Firefox versions. Stylesheets that worked in a previous version do not necessarily have to work in the subsequent version. Mypal 68 is based on Firefox 68.12.0esr from August 2020. The regular Firefox 68 version (not esr) was released in July 2019. Thus, you have to look mainly for custom CSS stylesheets published from July 2019 to August 2020. Search for tabs_below_navigation_toolbar_fx68.css which depends on tabs_below_navigation_toolbar_fx65.css which in turn depends on tabs_below_navigation_toolbar.css! That means you have to copy all three files into your profile subfolder chrome\CSS and import the tabs_below_navigation_toolbar_fx68.css file only in your userChrome.css file via the following command: @import "./css/tabs_below_navigation_toolbar_fx68.css"; The good is that once you found working stylesheets they will work in Mypal 68 probably forever. Is mostly finished. It is not for public as I have not changed the name from Firefox to Mypal. Replace the string Firefox by the string Mypal in all files using the "replace all"-function of an editor as, for example, Notepad++! This is very easy and can be done in minutes. In any case, your compatriots would surely appreciate a working German language pack for Mypal 68.13.x. Cheers, AstroSkipper3 points

Use custom CSS stylesheets from CustomCSSforFx to move the tab bar below the navigation and bookmarks bar! Look at my pictures, and you will see the distances fit perfectly. The custom CSS stylesheet I am using is originally from CustomCSSforFx but it has been modified by me and can't be directly used elsewhere due to special variables and changes. Thus, I won't provide it. But the original CSS stylesheet of course works as it is. And if you don't like a separate search bar, you can move the search function to the address bar. This can even be done natively in Mypal 68's settings, or you change more by using a script or another custom CSS stylesheet. BTW, didn't you actually want to create a German language pack for Mypal 68.13.x? Already published? Cheers, AstroSkipper3 points

Chrome 117 for XP, it's not happening, forget it. My hunch, they started to serve you different content, try to change UA, possibly even to mobile. I still suggest to try VPN. https://www.useragentlist.net/chrome-android-13/2 points

It all depends on the place where you live and your ISP speed, for me it's instant, which is no wonder, since Holland has one of the fastest ISP providers, I'm sure the same is for @Dave-H. Try to test with uBlock ON!2 points

I did, IMDB and Twitter are much slower with 360, IMDB doesn't even render pages dark, even it's forced via flags, but Kafan does. Unfortunately now you won't be able to compare, since both sites demand accounts. Overall, I agree with you, Kafan isn't as good, as it could be.2 points

What I said - was not sarcasm. Imagine, you came to buy a car. You were always dreaming of Ferrari, now you bought it for a gazllion Euros. Later on you discovered it was made by the russians, whose labour was used by the manufacturer to reduce the cost. Would you be happy with the purchase ? I wouldn't ! It's not Italian anymore. Not only it has no Italian soul, that's also a scam ! I'd sue the hell out of them. All that "racist" crap just serves them, not us. It's easier for them to scam us that way. Yeah, only after I asked him. You're welcome, enjoy.2 points

Has the exact opposite effect here, CPU usage is consistently higher with the script enabled.1 point

1080ti >> yes, acid colours! 980ti >> sucks and too old (soon to be a decade old), I agree titan x maxwell >> https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-gtx-titan-x.c2632 titan x 2016 >>Never heard of such thing, but if you know what that is, please find it on techpowerup and give us the link. titan xp >> Tripredacus banned the only one knowledgeable member, the owner of Titan XP who provided us with good consultations (no, not for posting crakcs, if you wonder), so we'll never now for sure. With the current members - seems no one can answer this question with 100% certainty.1 point

Yes, you are right. I had disabled it in the Firefox browsers during the initial tweaking to remove all possible animations, and had forgotten about it. The setting is: general.autoScroll1 point

Github common user functions (idk the coding part) is working well with e10s now.1 point

Indeed, I wrote my own unified starter app for Chrome and Opera, it passes a gazillion of flags and enabled/disabled features to the executable, I shared it with several members, everyone's happy with it, I never used quotes. I must be not educated enough.1 point
-
This was not the question D.Draker asked, he asked if there were quotes in the command line under chrome://version/ on his screenshot. For me, it doesn't seem like the member has troubles understanding English.1 point
-
I tried that one, too. When I switch CUVID on, it becomes brighter, you know why?1 point
-
I wasn't catching anyone in a "a grammar trap." Come on, there's one million of live witnesses. Also, as religious people would say, God sees everything, fear of God. A fair solution would be now you both apologize. EDIT: Maybe then I reconsider postings of my valuable information, Take a note, it also says --flag-switches-begin, it's the beginning, also no quotes.1 point
-
Yes, there's a correction in place, like I said! Of course! But whadda I know, I only a "doctor" Exactly! Thank you!1 point
-
Lol, look at the screenshot I posted again, look at the screenshot he himself posted. too. There's simply no quotes in the Command Line under chrome://version/: --enable-features=WebContentsForceDark,TurnOffStreamingMediaCaching,Yada,Yada No spaces between features either!1 point
-
There are no quotes under chrome://version/ on his screenshot, why did you ignore the most important subject, I wonder? I'll answer, it's because Chrome doesn't need them. Whatever outdated info he passed to the chrome executable, chrome seems to be correcting it. Outdated, hence the keyword "archived article" he used. I couldn't have been able to port new browsers or anything to Vista if I hadn't knew it, so him calling me a doctor might have been an exaggeration, but overall he's right, I know "a bit" more about Chrome. With the current state of things on the forum, where people simply can't support normal discussion, I'm going to limit my free support, I already cancelled my ported Opera project, no more posting of modded nVidia drivers either.1 point

I'll maybe revisit Supermium in the future again, but the last 115 I tried, secure DNS behaved just like in 360 Chrome, meaning not working at all.1 point

@XPerceniol, maybe better not to look up for that topic at all, in case you haven't seen it, might be damaging to your nerves.1 point
-
@XPerceniol, greetings and welcome back! I'm so glad you're with us, I hope you recover and join the discussions to the full extent! Yes, I guess we all saw the rather unpleasant topic where he/they kinda made it sound as if you are dead/departed. As always, I tried to stand by you , but then Tommy intervened and suggested to simply ignore him/they/it/their, that's what I'm currently doing, it seems the stalking have stopped (for now), perhaps you also try that, too? I know it's hard, especially after what they wrote, but better save your strength for the recovery process? Maybe it's not worth to dwell in the past?1 point

Every Nvidia card with a BIOS newer than Sep 2013 will have a seriously boosted brightness! The plonkers started to parrot the always overbright AMD to boost the sales, would be my guess. Keep that in mind.1 point

Very strange, did you try my 378.78 modded driver?1 point
-
Hi! The title is wrong, no such thing as "GTX Titan X Pascal" exists, however, there's GTX Titan XP, I own one GTX Titan X, it runs hot, noisy, no huge difference between it and the Black one, except the VRAM amount, I shouldn't advise GTX Titan X to the worst enemy, stay away. 1080Ti runs well with my 378.78 modded driver. But yeah, like Dixel said, the picture is acid.1 point
-
I'd say neither, get the usual Titan Black.1 point
-
Depends on your taste. Do you like overbright acid colours? Then get 1080ti. I had that card in 2016, but returned to the store after 2 days. I didn't like the picture/visual quality. Besides, it lacks CSAA.1 point

Yep, but in your Download or more precisely Opening dialogue , you have the option to "Do this automatically for files like this from now on". In New Moon 28 and Serpent 52 (2023-11-10), this option doesn't exist anymore for downloading an exe file when using a fresh profile. At the moment, the only way to directly open the Save File dialogue is to add the missing mime application/octet-stream what I have just done and to set then the option Save File manually in the Applications window. I hope this missing option will be restored.1 point

Maybe you use Windows 7 or some other old OS, here? By default WinCopy uses a wimlib capture and apply, but without actually creating a WIM file. So yes, WimScript.ini is needed and if not set by command line, that the default one is used. Not sure what problem wimlib has, that error codes could be during scan and apply. I uploaded a "b" version that will add wimlib error file to the console output. Anyway you could also try volume mode of WinCopy by adding "-volume" to the command line.1 point

Hello and welcome, George from Australia! You've come to the right place! There are a lot windows 11 users at MSFN.1 point

Indeed you're, but I already wrote: I agree with you. What else do you want me to say? Kafan is raw, they din't bother themselves to squeese out the full potential. But most importantly, only one version above.1 point

Is that a recent image? It also did for me, until recently. Now only Kafan does, but I don't use it, due to the bright theme, too bright.1 point

Even so, still 32GB was the limit set by Microsoft for XP32 without SP2.1 point
-
In 2003-2004, I had a 4GB DDR (yes, simple DDR, not DDR2) notebook which came with preinstalled XP 32bit (without SP2). XP was able to use 32GB of RAM. Of course it could use all 4GB of its memory. When I "upgraded" to SP2, the amount of the usable RAM dropped to just 3.2, not to mention the terrible speed SP2 brought! I reverted back and never used SP2 again.1 point
-
Wrong, XP 32bit, before SP2, can use 32GB. But it's not the main subject, I'm waiting for the test results with 360EE.1 point
-
No, it does, with that limit it will never "see" all 4GB, assuming we talk about 2x2DDR2GB, which is era correct. You will get 3GB, or 3.2-3.5 - at best! If you use "memory remap" in BIOS. Also, if we talk about laptops, it will deduct the VRAM from RAM, resulting in even less amount, let's say 2.5GB, if you had a 512MB "right era" GPU.1 point
-
I even had much worse - Intel Celeron! The difference was very noticeable, and I don't even understand why some still argue, when it's known, SP2 introduced memory limit. I'd be interested to see the test results with Chrome 360 on all service packs, with the right era hardware.1 point
-
Of course, I know that but I was interested whether it is well-known or popular in your country or not. That this does not mean anything regarding the quality of a program is totally clear. Or did you seriously think that this could be a decision criterion for me? Nevertheless, I just wanted to know that from a native person because I never heard of Vir.IT eXplorer before, and I assume most of us never heard of it, either. Therefore, I wonder who is using this program at all, especially a program with such a modest detection rate.1 point
-
Thank you for providing information! In the VB100 test report from 21.04.2023, Vir.IT eXplorer just about passed their test with a detection rate of 77.40% (at least 75.00% was required). Unfortunately, that is definitely not marvellous. Is this program well known or popular in Italy? In Germany, it is totally unknown and never mentioned in terms of available antimalware programs.1 point
-
Thanks but once again! I know the homepage of Vir.IT eXplorer which was already linked by me here: Quotes from or links to the homepage don't help me at all. What I need is real data based on experiences made by people who really use or have used it a longer time. Or links to trustworthy reviews. Or opinions from members knowing interesting or helpful facts about that program. A short test in a VM is rather meaningless! Anyway! Vir.IT eXplorer is an unknown candidate and therefore problematic.1 point

Malware Hunter Malware Hunter is an antimalware program from Glarysoft and is still XP-compatible. Including both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Version history and release notes: Reviews: https://onlinecloudsecurity.com/malware-hunter-review-is-it-safe-to-download/ https://tweaklibrary.com/glarysoft-malware-hunter-pro-review/ Download page: https://www.glarysoft.com/downloads/?p=mh-page Direct download link: https://download.glarysoft.com/mhsetup.exe Screenshots: Although I personally don't prefer features like cleanup or optimization inside an antimalware program, the fact that this program is still compatible with Windows XP and has an Avira scan engine does not make it uninteresting. In any case, it can be used as an offline scanner in the free version and can also be set up as a portable version. You have full control over Malware Hunter via its systray icon. It is definitely an option for Windows XP. Cheers, AstroSkipper1 point

No, I'm pretty sure it was Jordan Rachel ! "your" version ? Care to elaborate ? Are you a developer of some sorts ? We already had a developer with "his" chrome versions recently, from the same country, pure coincidence some might say. By the same coincidence, he also couldn't go on with the newer chrome versions.1 point

Very simple ! It supports XP, without XP being supported.1 point

Is this the same company ? If so, then it's not German, and definitely not 15 generations of Germans involved. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Webroot1 point
-
Well, during that days you're talking about, Germany was especially globalistic - using the labour of foreign workes to produce goods, so it's nothing new. It doesn't matter what ideology is being used to cover the deception ! What he meant - it's exactly otherwise, I'm sure his posts have nothing to do with racism, albeit being offtopic.I want to buy Swiss cheese, so as jaclaz wants to buy Italian made pasta made by Italian workes and he wants to use an AV made in Germany by the trusted Germans, real Germans with no ties to other foreign (hostile) nations. There's nothing wrong with being able to choose what we want, as customers. That being said, I hope you understand he was joking about 15 generations and whatnot, but I still I hope jaclaz will suggest us an option regarding , say Italian made antivirus, I don't mind to use Italian software at all. I like Italian goods, also.1 point
-
There is nothing to check in a German company in terms of the origin of their workers. Most antivirus companies operate worldwide, in most cases internationally. Certification of origin??? That kind of thinking is more of a pigeonholing or casteism. It is the year 2023. In which century do you live? Apart from the fact that all of your recent comments here are totally off-topic, they have nothing to do with antivirus programs targeting Windows XP, you should urgently reconsider such nonsense, especially regarding the recent history (of the first half of the last century). Anyway! One thing is crystal clear, any kind of racism is never a solution. AstroSkipper1 point
