  1. How To Fix Weather Gadget Windows Vista & 7 - Quick Fix 100% Tutorial: You don't need to download any gadgets or malicious programs! WORKING 2020!!! How to repair weather gadget default application from Windows 7. Fix cannot connect to service error! Follow my steps: Copy config.xml file to: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live\Services\Cache" and edit settings.ini to change location. Now is very easy to find location code with this site: https://weather.codes/ NEW link (config.xml)- last modified date 2017 (working without edit with notepad): File download link here (Mediafire) This completes the settings to fix the startup problem. But many users do not find the Config.xml file when they open the "Cache" folder. In this case, you need to download it from the link below, extract it from the archive and place it in the specified folder, and then perform all the manipulations with Notepad, which were discussed above. Modification After starting the tool, you need to configure its settings. Point the cursor over the "Weather" application icon. To the right of it, a block of icons will be displayed. We click on the "Parameters" icon in the form of a key.

  2. SIB/SAB is totally disabled in Safe Mode by default. You can enable it via group policy or registry values: EnableInSafeMode=(DWORD)1 in HKCU\SOFTWARE\StartIsBack or HKLM\SOFTWARE\StartIsBack

  3. They're called Widgets on Android, but on Windows 7 I think they were called Gadgets. Microsoft deprecated gadgets but they're still available here, including Microsoft's Calendar Gadget: https://8gadgetpack.net/ As the Web site name implies, Gadgets work on Windows 8[.1] too. (And Win 10 and 11)

  4. "never have anything fullscreen, you can just have 1% of the gbf tab visible and it will not freeze, but if you dont it will freeze." - reading on Bing... -under link here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Granblue_en/comments/kgj0mj/psa_calculate_native_window_occlusion_expires/ Then in chrome://flags you have two flags about "occlusion".. For security reasons, I never use fullscreen mode. I like to see a bit of desktop, to be able to act if needed...

  5. I've found a nice little feature in Invidious, the alternative Youtube interface. You can download Youtube videos right to your Windows 98 computer. Tested with a TLS-patched Netscape. When going to a video site, it says "Download as:", then there is a wide choice of video and audio-only formats. Currently, the instance at invidious.snopyta.org makes a healthy look now. But that can change rather quickly, as instances come and go, and need to close down when the load on them becomes too much or Google changes their code to block them.

  6. I wish they would concentrate on finishing that rather than finding more things to remove from UXP! customElements has been standard for some time and implementing it would probably go a long way toward making their browsers work with several troublesome sites. I would guess that YouTube tests whether some aspect of Web Components is enabled; if so, it tries to use it, then fails due to the incomplete implementation. So in this case, no implementation beats partial implementation.

  7. Yeah, I know its not enough, but for what I do, I can get by with it for the time being anyway. That is why I don't think I'm going to upgrade this thing (bad hard drive), everything is held together with duct tape and crazy glue as it is. Yes your version is fine as well - thank you.

  8. But browsers may end support for 8.1 at the same time as 7, just as they ended support for Vista at the same time as XP, and for the same reason: Relatively few users remaining.

  9. Windows comes with many settings. You can control the settings through the Control Panel or from the Settings application But you can also collect all Windows 7 settings in one place by creating a “God Mode” Here are the categories of tools you'll find in God Mode: Administrative Tools AutoPlay Backup and Restore Color Management Credential Manager Date and Time Devices and Printers Ease of Access Center File Explorer Options File History Fonts Indexing Options Infrared Internet Options Keyboard Mouse Network and Sharing Center Pen and Touch Phone and Modem Power Options Programs and Features Region RemoteApp and Desktop Connections Security and Maintenance Sound Speech Recognition Storage Spaces Sync Center System Tablet PC Settings Taskbar and Navigation Troubleshooting User Accounts Windows Defender Firewall Windows Mobility Center Work Folders What is God Mode God Mode gives you access to all management features in one place and is still better than modern Windows 10 & Windows 8.1 settings. Where you can control all Windows settings and features from one place without going into many pages As you can see in the screenshot above, God Modes UI is based on the Control Panel layout and is designed to help you quickly configure Windows settings from a single screen. How to enable God mode in Windows 7 | Also applies to Windows 8 & 8.1 & 10 1 - To access God Mode in Windows 10, you need to create a special shortcut folder on your desktop 2 - On the desktop, right-click anywhere. 3 - Select the "Create a new folder" option. 4 - Right-click on the new folder. 5 - Rename the folder and copy the following command and give the folder that name GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} GodMode folder

  11. Hey folks! Sorry that I've been absent for nearly one year, I've been very busy for certain reasons. First - the mirror of latest BNavigator, Firefox 45ESR, MailNews 52, New Moon 26.5/27/28 and Serpent 52/55 builds is still alive and updated every week -> soggi.org - tools. Second - @roytam1 I still stuck with New Moon 27.9.7_20201121 for several reasons. Recently I had the time to check all since then released versions up to New Moon 27.10.0_20211106. I tested them with the most important (to me) websites and here is the result (only detected issues are listed, screenshots added below): search bar / plugins don't work (since 20201212) right-click "Open Link in New Tab" doesn't work (since 20201212) partially large / odd context menu (since 20201212) YouTube redirects to mobile version (https://m.youtube.com/, since 20210807) Twitter doesn't work (solved since 20211030) MediathekViewWeb JS doesn't work (since 20201128, solved since 20210213) Matomo JS crashes New Moon (since 20201226, solved since 20210306) kind regards soggi
