  1. Updated links for my v11 and v12 rebuilds. Might be another day or so before I can update my v13 (I haven't visited it in a while and unsure of how many fixes/tweaks it is behind relative to v11 and v12). These fix a Google "feature" present since Chrome v69 where a Google cookie is stored in 'local storage' and does not clear on exit despite the user's preference to clear cache and cookies on exit (so no real effect for those that keep cookies from session to session). It also disables a few depracated embedded APIs (that were disabled in early v13 rebuilds but not 100% positive if they remained disabled in later v13 rebuilds after I merged my rebuild notes with some Humming Owl tweaks). A quick note - an easy way to UPGRADE and KEEP your current profile (needs performed when 360Chrome is closed) -- navigate to your CURRENT Chrome\Application directory (contains two folders and two files), DELETE the two folders and two files, COPY the two folders and two files from the below .zip into that Chrome\Application directory. When UPGRADING, you keep your existing 360Loader.ini, 360Loader.exe, and Chrome\User Data folder untouched. https://www.dropbox.com/s/v45xr0pj9g4ka7a/360ChromePortable_11.0.2031_rebuild_2.zip https://www.dropbox.com/s/aozhovtrevt4dii/360ChromePortable_12.0.1247_rebuild_6.zip

  2. It would have been EXTREMELY difficult to discuss the matter on a board hosted on an expired domain. Nuno forgot/missed a renewal deadline by one day or two. Everything is back to "normal". jaclaz

  3. Same is true for @Dixel's v13. Hmmm... I hope we don' thave to "allow" an unwanted persistent Google cookie when NOT visiting the Web Store just to be able to use the Web Store when we want to use the Web Store.

  4. I am able to get to it, but it still doesn't fully support HTTPS. There isn't any post there in the Community section that I could see where people talked about what you saw or the site being inaccessible.

  5. AGREED! I don't even own a phone! NONE! No land line, no cell phone, NOTHING! A very stress-free lifestyle! In the news a week or so ago, Facebook was under fire for internal office memos being discovered where Facebook is AWARE but DOES NOT CARE that their Instagram app is the direct cause of 1 in 3 teenage girls having MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES directly tied to them spending all their time on Instagram. My only comment at the time this "news" broke - NO DUH! But not only does Facebook (owner of Instagram) NOT CARE, but NEITHER DO PARENTS. Because they FALSELY think their child's SAFETY is all tied to them having access to a PHONE. BULLCRAP! 1 in 3 teenage girls with MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES all on account of SOCIAL MEDIA. But you think this is ONLY teenage girls? Look around at the ADULTS you see "tied to their phone" - you can't tell me you don't see glimpses of MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES among those ADULTS also. Don't get me wrong, I'm not undermining the importance of taking care of folks with mental health issues - quite the opposite in fact!

  6. 1 - will be fixed 2 - you can use UP DOWN to select an entry in the list or press A - Z to select a drive letter directly 3 - progressbar should only be yellow while canceling a progress with the cancel button. Maybe it does not get reset sometimes. 4 - Hmm, have not seen that, but I have an idea ...

  7. Hey Thank you for this! Is there a way to make this work on Windows 8.0 (version 6.2.9200). I am trying this and I get Blocking Issues: "You cannot use this setup program to install the .NET Framework" Edit: I was doing it wrong. The method for Vista works just fine on Windows 8.0. It bypasses the installation block at least. After that was another story. I tried installing Synctrayzor 1.1.29 which needs .net 4.7.2 and I got an error message that ".net 4.7.2 is needed to run this application blablabla" with 4.7.2 installed. (By installed I mean that that the installation finished without any errors and called for the usual restart but when I checked after the Add/Remove Programs .Net 4.72 wasn't listed.) I will continue trying at some point and see what happens.

  9. Firefox crashes with Adobe Flash plug-in activated. Deactivate the plugin container: dom.ipc.plugins.enabled;false and dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs;-1. The boolean "dom.ipc.plugins.enabled" has been removed with version 43. Please see my instructions on the first page/post. Other settings on about:config are not necessary at first. Make sure that you haven't the reg entries of LZDLL_ME.reg or LZDLL.reg in your registry. The KernelEx installers provided by others could merge them into the registry. First try with xpSP2 files only to run Firefox 45. XUL.dll must be in follower mode or set it for safety's sake to XPSP2. Interesting, but I didn't deal with it intensively. I believe this will probably be more difficult than it initially seems and will be a bigger thing. Then running chromium based browsers on 98SE/ME could really be something for a fresh topic. Supplement: I nearly have forgotten that I have SlimBoat 1.1.50 (WebKit browser) installed here. Basically it works, but it renders e.g. msfn board not better than Opera 12.0.2 and it can't open most sites anymore. I also have version 1.1.53. It doesn't render pages better. And I think 1.1.54 is the last released and only little newer. https://msfn.org/board/topic/175296-final-inquiry-about-98se-and-kernelex/?do=findComment&comment=1120167 https://de.dll-files.com/qtwebkit4.dll.html

  10. In folder Win_Reduce_Trusted-43\Win_reduce\File_List you find files that for each category describe the files to keep (SysWOW64 and WindowsApps) or remove (all other categories) base_winsxs_2.cmd of cdob is used to reduce WinSxS folder Win_Reduce_Trusted can be used to reduce Windows installed in partition, but Windows must be offline e.g. by booting with PE or other Windows More Info post #1 and #2 and in VHD_WIMBOOT PDF

  11. I shall wait when (if) @Dixel shares his version with me ... that doesn't mean I'm not grateful to you guys @ArcticFoxie, @Humming Owl , thank you ! Your browser works very good with Nvidia drivers up to 347.88 , but not with later ones , sadly... I think I'm gunna use it on my old notebook with intel HD. Now this cookie story came to the light...

  13. i'd personally change d-pad buttons with triangle based arrows and maybe bottom buttons put next to d-pad buttons vertically for faster interaction

  15. @Gansangriff , I hope you will help the author to eliminate those connections and in that case , do you think this could be a good alternative to firefox , which I 'm currently on ? I want to ditch firefox because it leaks data to yandex .
