  2. I checked my release on Android. Here they are: uBlock filters – Quick fixes: https://ublockorigin.github.io/uAssets/filters/quick-fixes.txt GoodbyeAds-YouTube-AdBlock-Filter: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jerryn70/GoodbyeAds/master/Formats/GoodbyeAds-YouTube-AdBlock-Filter.txt
  3. I am not at my desktop computer at the moment but surfing with my Android tablet. On FilterLists you will find all you need.
  4. That's right. But this thread is actually about @roytam1's browser releases. :OT You have to import these filter lists in your uBO version. You can find them all on https://filterlists.com/. :END OF OT
  5. When you HOVER OVER your YouTube-AdBlocker-Filter, can you show me what the status bar shows as the SOURCE of the list?
  6. I cannot use your mod uBO Legacy, it is for Mozilla-based and I run Chromium-based. Seems the LISTS between uBO-Mozilla and uBO-Chromium are DIFFERENT. I see nothing called "quick fixes" and nothing called "goodbyeads-youtube".
  7. That's unfortunately not enough. What about all default uBlock filters? For blocking YouTube ads, you can enable uBlock filters – Quick fixes and GoodbyeAds-YouTube-AdBlock-Filter. In my thread, you will find my latest release containing all these filter lists and more. And in my article, you will find corresponding images of the tab Filter lists. In any case, I don't get ads in YouTube videos when using my mod uBlock Origin Legacy.

  9. NINA now has support for ICQ up to version 6 and the iOS and Android AIM apps, allowing you to chat in a retro fashion on your smartphone. Their launch of AOL Desktop is soon. They're about $260 behind on hosting due to some issues, so if you'd like to chip in $5 for beta access, you won't regret it.. The AIM Express Adobe Flash client along with it's WebAPI protocol allowing HTML applications to interface with NINA is also now available for donators. Quite retro, but works very well. Attached in the screenshot is the AIM iOS app, ICQ 6 and AIM Express.
  10. I know that, of course. It wasn't directed at you either, but at those who are annoyed by websites that don't load properly in @roytam1's browsers. In the end, many of them can be loaded quite well if you do it right.
  11. A tad OT, but what lists are you guys using in uBO? I import my lists because I rebuild my profile often and I disable my internet during profile creation, these are the lists I'm using: But they do not block YouTube ads so I rely on a separate extension called "AdBlock — best ad blocker", version 5.22.0, with one and only one list:
  12. I tried disabling the enhanced features of SAB, and there were no issues with testing the input method switch.
  13. ... I totally agree with you on this ; but you didn't have to convince me in the first place ... However, try to preach to the number of members here who are (still) under the impression that using a content blocker (such as uBO) will "significantly slow down" their browsing experience on their antiquated H/W ... Yes, uBO does consume a slight RAM portion to do its job, but if you're very low on RAM (< 512MB), you probably shouldn't face the current web with that machine of yours ...
  14. Paragon HFS v11.0.0.175 was still compatible with Windows XP only the installer wasn't.
  15. New Moon 28 is the browser I mainly use from @roytam1's releases. Many websites can be loaded without serious problems. But of course, there are bloated and cumbersome sites which are loading terribly. However, some of them can be edited with the help of uBlock Origin so that they run reasonably well again. For example, you can neuter the GMX homepage and completely remove all the news, adverts, videos and so on. Or use the right filter lists to access news pages like The New York Times again. On PCWelt, around 1000 elements are blocked with my activated filter lists and runs super smoothly again. However, without uBO, it would make no sense to access such websites on older machines.
  16. Well all my operating systems are on 'bare metal' and I hope they always will be! I didn't actually import my 360Chrome profile into Thorium. I imported it into Supermium, and then imported the Supermium profile into Thorium! As Thorium and Supermium are so similar, I thought that was the best way to do it. I can't think of any reason why a 360Chrome profile wouldn't work directly in Thorium though.
  17. I was on 'bare metal' XP until only just about a month and a half or so ago. I gave up on XP. I felt like a dog chasing a flea on the tip of my tail, constantly running in circles and never catching that flea. The last straw for me was my checking account web site would no longer run on XP + 360Chrome.
  18. I agree, but I would add that there are many, many other sites like that. That's why whenever I can I insist on never relying directly on those. Always download what they offer from outside, using other tools, avoiding advertising, viruses, etc. Every day there are more and more ways to bypass the crap.
  19. <OT> I tell ya, sometime I wonder if I'm the only person here left running 'bare metal' XP installations ... haha ... probably so. <OT>
  20. ^HI Dave - I am also giving it a try but were you able to get Thorium to pick up your 360 profile? Maybe there is something I'm not getting because I didn't run into this with Supermium. Will try again this weekend when I have more time because tomorrow I have too many appointments. If I have to build a profile from scratch that isn't a huge deal-breaker for me, but I took so much time to get 360 where I want it and will likely not give up on it completely either but its starting to show its age.
  21. Well that's strange, as SAB doesn't interfere with that
