prx984 Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 HOLY CRAP! Thats amazing! Any idea on how little of a system you'd need to run this?
tap52384 Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 I apologize if this question has been asked before, but does vLite have the ability to force Windows Aero Glass on a system with a non-supported video card, or is that impossible on the final version?
strotee76 Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Wow, this is awesome. I thought it would be released tomorrow but I'll have time tonight to test it. Thanks. Will let you know how it goes.
Jeremy Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 Thanks, Nuhi. 'Preciate it. I wish I had of Beta tested back in the day so I would've had a free copy by now. Oh well.
bledd Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 thanks for adding in the realtime protecion tweak

bonestonne Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 I apologize if this question has been asked before, but does vLite have the ability to force Windows Aero Glass on a system with a non-supported video card, or is that impossible on the final version?aero requires 32bit graphics, i don't think there will ever be an easy way to change that. aero glass doesn't even look all that great to me...i prefer the classic style.
nDrew Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 (edited) I think disabling the systen requirements at setup (min RAM etc) will be also a great option. Thanks a lot Edited January 15, 2007 by nDrew
KRYOGENIUS Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 HelloThanks to you Nuhi, this Vlite is already the best for vista ! With the same evolution as nlite for XP etc...I'm going to try this new version today. Just one question, I have read the guides onto the WAIK and msdn sites, but how do you find the packages ? (IIS etc), How do you do to find the name of the packages to remove them ?Thanks
Jeronimo Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 I apologize if this question has been asked before, but does vLite have the ability to force Windows Aero Glass on a system with a non-supported video card, or is that impossible on the final version? As I recall there is an option on the tweaks page to force the Aero Glass.
iwod Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 Nice... Now Vista happily live in inside Parallel inside my Mac with much smaller file size! Thanks nuhi I am wondering if this is pretty much all of the stuff we can remove. Or can we expect more to come?Compare to nlite; vlite is moving at a much faster pace
XPero Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 Great news! Good job.PS: I love that Segoe UI font tweak
