simeruk Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 Hello all ! My first post here I think that I`ve stumbled on a small error in the_guy`s list - namely:Windows 2000 part of the list:Download link doesn`t seem to work. I have posted corrected one below.KB913580 -› Vulnerability in Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator Could Allow Denial of ServiceDownload -› 5.21 MB (May 9, 2006)Switches: KB913580.exe /passive /norestart /quiethttp://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;DisplayLang=enCheers !
the_guy Posted July 18, 2007 Author Posted July 18, 2007 The bugs have been fixed. The KB913580 bug was just caused by an extra http://. The rest were by copying and pasting.the_guy
dunkie12 Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Windows Genuine Advantage Validation is now at version 1.5.716.0 (KB892130)Does anyone know where to get the complete installer?I have the installer for an older version 1.5.530.0I did manage to find the updated LegitCheckControl.dll on RyanVM's page.So I created a switchless installer that will install 1.5.530.0 and then update the file to 1.5.716.0, it will also add the appropriate entries into the registry. Credit goes to RyanVM, this is based on his work. I just packaged it.To use this, just add it to your SVCPack Folder and add a line to svcpack.inf to execute it at T13I have not test it yet, so let me know if there are any problems.Download it athttp://www.sendspace.com/file/gyqn70If the link is broken, send me a PMIf anyone finds a full install of KB892130 - 1.5.716.0, please let us (me) know.*** Edit ***Just tested it on Virtual Machine. It is working fine. No problems when trying to download Windows Media Player 11.Took this from my windows update log file in c:\windows:http://www.download.windowsupdate.com/msdo...32491eaf8f1.exeTested and I was able to download the file - this is the download for kb892130
