Mike_Wilson Posted July 17, 2005 Author Posted July 17, 2005 Added it so when you put <nopass> into the field it makes the pass blank. Is this ok?
1boredguy Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 hello, don't know if this has been already reported, but the SOME of the categories.;============================================================================;======================= STARTUP / SHUTDOWN TWEAKS =========================;============================================================================seem to be randomly placed in order.i've compiled a few, and sometimes the categories are swapped around. gets to be a lil hassle when comparing multiple reg files.other than that, i've still been enjoying this slick program! looking forward to the next version.
Mike_Wilson Posted July 20, 2005 Author Posted July 20, 2005 The headers have changed in the new versions so they wont be as big as previous versions like you specified. Also the sections are in the file in order of what they are on the menus, ie in 0.4 its SP2-Services from left to right then down so they will differ depending on what is selected each time.
cdysthe Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 Hi,I have been using this for a couple of weeks now. What a great piece of software! A couple of suggestions though to make it easier to use:1) File association: I would like to be able to associate urt04 profile files with the program and thereby be able to click on a profile file and have the program opened with that file loaded. I have tried to associate utr04 files with the program, and the program does open when I click on the file. However, the profile isn't loaded. I still have to load it "manually".2) Give the program a distinct icon instead of the very generic one it has now.3) Remember the last directory you saved files to. Now it defaults to the program directory. If you save profiles and reg/inf files to another directory, you have to navigate to it in the save dialog every time.I know these don't really add to the functionality of the program, but when you find something you really like you pay more attention to detail. That's what has happened to me in this case.. //Christian
Zhubajie Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 Wow, this is quite a usefull program. My compliments! There are lots of tweaking programs but I want to know which key they change so I can do it myself when I don't have the program handy. Also I was trying to build a reg file with my favorite settings in it.This program helps me in both fields and doesn't have to be installed.Suggestion: add the setting "default to Details View in Explorer".Keep up the good work.Marcel

Orsi Posted July 31, 2005 Posted July 31, 2005 I am not being to able to run the application Every time I try I receive the following error message:"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application."Any help?
Sgt_Strider Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 (edited) I think the program needs to be optimized for 120DPI. For some odd reasons the texts looks funny funnay that DPI.Also I think the windows file protection tweak no longer works for the SP2 era. Maybe you should remove it. scuzzy47 Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Is there any way I can preset this registry settings to automatically install with an unattended install of Windows XP Pro, so I don't have to install the .reg I became manually???I'm new to all this but I must say : Love your program !!!Grtz
djbe Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 edit the registry hives on your ua-cd... look in the guide or search the forums for that method.
