SiMoNsAyS Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 i've been using "work with registry" and the registry cleaner on "tuneup utilities 2004", they both work very good on messed systems like mine the pitty is that both are pay-ware
soldier1st Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 crap cleanerwww.ccleaner.comit's free and is one of the best around
puntoMX Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 jv16 Power Tools, only can´t defrag the REG, for the rest it´s pritty nice It´s not for free but you can try it for 30 days (only bad thing about it )
horsecharles Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 Best that i have used is RegSupremeI belive they went from freeware to commercial a bit ago...|Drew|Good app-- it's actually contained in Jv16/ Registry Tool / Tools / Registry Cleaner. Here's last freeware version: http://www.321download.com/LastFreeware/index.html#jv16 Crap Cleaner is good too, in conjunction-- & to quickly clean hard drive.
indianarchie Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 I use regcleaner..its nice, but a bit slow at removing registry entries..apart from tht, no problems!
magicfly Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 as always CRAP CLEANER....works really good!!
Tungsram Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 I've used RegCleaner, Registry Mechanic (yuck), and I am currently using the one in System Mechanic 5 Pro.I'm gonna try that Crap Cleaner however. It looks interesting.
Afterdawn Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 What's up with these commercial reg-cleaner programs? You're so incredibly stupid if you bought one of these.. I mean you need to pay for something to clean up something that's caused by windows or programs that don't clean up their mess...And you probably won't notice a speedgain... defragmentating the register-files will do you more benefit!
Blam-O! Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 My vote for "RegSupremePro v1.0.0.22". Which is based off the free version of "regcleaner". But the Commercial version has way more features and runs fast even on slow computers. They also have a RUN version, so you don't have to install anything - works great over a network! But if you don't want to pay for it, use CrapCleaner. Home Page
littleT Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 I would recommend using Stompsoft's Registry Repair. It works great and kept my computer running at peak efficiency. You can check it out from this link: http://www.stompsoft.com/registry-repair.html
