July 21, 200521 yr All this stuff about slipstreaming WMP 10 to xp cd is in vain...useles...bad...I didnt find it helpful and anough. That's a little extreme don't you think? It's through work like this that Obliviator & Bâshrat the Sneaky did that help/inspire others such as Gnome (WMP10 Complete Slipstream, Slipstream WMP10 and ALL Components) to create some really great products. Gnome is the first one to admit that his work is a result of theirs.CREDIT:Bâshrat the Sneaky and Obliviator they've done the most work. And Bâshrat the Sneaky credits Obliviator--whose work you're criticizingIt's based on the post of ObliviatorIn fact, look at Bâshrat the Sneaky's last post in the thread you think is so wonderfulCheck this topic. This one is superseeded by that oneNot thinking a forum or thread is useful to you--even though its obvious you haven't read it completely--is no reason to disparage the author. Mention one you've found one that you believe has more info then move on.
August 14, 200521 yr the purpose of this thread is an advanced procedure for integrating WMP10 into XP...Since you are a beginner, I suggest that you read through the unattended guides and then use this procedurehttp://unattended.msfn.org/xp/applications/mediaplayer10.htm<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I started out on this very guide and wmp10 did not install. Thats what led me here.My svcpack.inf looks like this:;Windows XP[Version] Signature="$Windows NT$"MajorVersion=5MinorVersion=1BuildNumber=2600[setupData]CatalogSubDir="\i386\SVCPACK"[ProductCatalogsToInstall][setupHotfixesToRun]MP10Setup.exeKB823353.exe /Q:A /R:NKB842773.exe /Q /O /N /ZKB867282.exe /Q /O /N /ZKB873333.exe /Q /O /N /ZKB873339.exe /Q /O /N /ZKB883939.exe...Any ideas on what I have wrong?Thanks
February 6, 200620 yr The RyanVM Integrator can SlipStream WMP10 and many other programs. You may want to check out the link in my signature. Also you may want to browse RyanVM's forum for many other programs that you can slipstream etc.
April 18, 200620 yr I think it's pretty well established that nobody will be fixing the download link since this is an obsolete integration method. There are superior ways to do this already.
October 20, 200817 yr the link in the first post don't work...The thread was also posted last 2 years ago...The original post is way over 3 years old.
