Zxian Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 XP Pro here.I've used previous versions of Windows, and XP is by far the best.I've tried out a few versions of linux, but they all seem to be lacking that simplicity of just using the computer... to use my USB key drive on a linux machine, you have to mount it from Bash, and then unmount it... in Windows, just plug it in and then unplug it. There's a lot to be said for simplicity.
habibbijan Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 XP ProOS X (gasp!)Gentoo LinuxFedora Core 3 LinuxZxian, I suggest you try FC3. Using a USB flash drive is just as easy as in OS X. Plug it in - it shows up on the desktop. Right-click and choose "eject" to unmount it. Easy as pie. Happy New Year everyone.
