D.Draker Posted March 26 Posted March 26 The author released a half year old version, claiming it "isn't going to turn your computer into some sort of virus magnet"... The description is big and confusing, does it work on Vista? No clear mentions. https://github.com/Alex313031/thorium/releases/tag/M130.0.6723.174 2
D.Draker Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Oh, I just noticed, as usual with those blind brightness die-hards, the contrast is AGAIN increased!!! GEEEEZZZ!!!!! "Text contrast increased " 1
AstroSkipper Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Unfortunately, there are no legacy releases , especially for a Windows XP die hard fan like me : https://github.com/Alex313031/thorium-legacy/releases 5

I don't understand why those folks, win32ss and Alexander, keep pushing it up and up. 2

A version based on Chromium 122 doesn't really cut it any more. Why that decision seems to have been made I have no idea, but thank goodness that we still have Supermium! 6

If you're going to throw rotten tomatoes at me, make sure they're of British origin and organic. https://msfn.org/board/topic/185045-supermium/page/123/#findComment-1279153

Also sad, as that version really isn't that old. Today I found myself unable to log into my discover.com account using Thorium. Seriously? Perhaps a UAO would've gotten me in, but the discover.com site was not at all helpful with regard to minimum supported browser versions. I only tried a Chromium 125 user agent, which didn't work. Version 125 works with Chase, which is only reason I tried even that one UAO. As a Windows 7 user, it was easier for me to just try R3dfox, which worked, so I didn't pursue UAOs any further. 3
