Adding another bug to the list: Hyper-V guest windows (i.e. the content area of a VM) doesn't show up on taskbar, although the Hyper-V Manager window does. Also, I've had instances where application windows wouldn't show up on the ALT+TAB task switcher. On both instances, restarting explorer (and hence SAB) fixed the problem temporarily.

EDIT: Just tested the newly released version 3.8.1 - problem persists.

Fixed that in 3.8.1 new test https://startisback.com/StartAllBack_setup.exe

However the taskbar still doesn't show when pressing the windows key in a borderless app

And that

Now that's theoretically possible if windows are opened while explorer starts up. Is that the case?

One thing I noticed is that when minimizing a window in the taskbar and clicking to open it - it doesn't open it back up.

That's for some buggy apps. Which ones?

I can concur that taskbar is now fixed in borderless apps!

However one either a new or bug that existed within the last couple version has appeared (not sure when it appeared, but does not exist on 3.7.11)

mpv now shows double in the taskbar thing, even if only one instance is running. This isn't a big deal, but still a bug nonetheless. Never, don't combine still works with multiple instances, but even with that setting on it still shows multiple instances indicator on the taskbar even if only one instance exists.

That's progress bar I guess

All of the apps in my taskbar are like that

That's improbable. Which OS build?

24H2 build 26100.1150. When I click on the taskbar thumbnail to open it does nothing. Pressing the buttons on the taskbar work. It is not ideal however when there are multiple windows of the same app.

Yes, looks like that is it. It just looks weird when I'm used to the horizontal progress bar. But this is completely okay if you dont want to change it. Attached screenshot just for anyone curious looking at these

Nope, no idea, sorry.

Fixed it. So sorry for your trouble it was a third party mod from windhawk. Weird, because it used to work flawlessly with the previous taskbar implementation...

Works now. Weird, I did test version 3.8.1 as I saw you released it pretty much at the same time as I've made my previous post, and I'm pretty sure the problem with Hyper-V's guest window was still there, but this version you linked now didn't have that problem. Is that another build made afterwards?

I believe so, yes. I just saw it happen once, though.
