Am I correct in this assumption? Yes, you're right. I disabled it as recommended for old, slow computers. In the past, I didn't use any own filters. It's now the first time I've enabled it. And, it works as it should. 1

It wasn't clear to me at first what you were speaking of there , but upon inspecting the userscript's code, I figured out it must be the problem of not being able to access GitHub releases in a UXP-based browser without having palefill/gh-wc-pf extension installed first... And yes, I have already reported this, in this very thread, just ca. 20 days ago: https://msfn.org/board/topic/182647-my-browser-builds-part-3/page/189/#comment-1226368 ... and https://github.com/martok/palefill/issues/47#issuecomment-1257080166 contains a "dirty" workaround ... Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support. Download Microsoft Edge | More info about Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge I took care of that in UBO: ! https://learn.microsoft.com learn.microsoft.com##.has-default-focus.header-holder This cuts off more than just the unsupported banner. I personally use: ||learn.microsoft.com/_themes/docs.theme/master/*/_themes/global/*.deprecation.js$script This script specifically removes hidden attribute of the banner if the browser doesn't support certain features. 2

But I created my cosmetic filter before patching palefill to work on "learn.microsoft.com"; without palefill doing its magic, the site in question would display as below: ... so I used the cosmetic filter: learn.microsoft.com##.has-default-focus.header-holder to also remove what "appeared" to be two "empty" ribbons ; and there it was my wrong assumption ... Thanks for pointing this out ! With palefill patched and enabled, the cosmetic filter above will also remove So a more appropriate cosmetic filter would be: learn.microsoft.com###banner-holder,#unsupported-browser which blocks both the top Microsoft Ignite "info" banner as well as the "unsupported browser" one... 2 hours ago, UCyborg said: I personally use: ||learn.microsoft.com/_themes/docs.theme/master/*/_themes/global/*.deprecation.js$script Thanks for that, too! Instead of removing the "unsupported browser" banner after its creation, remove the Javascript code that generates it in the first place ("promo" banner still displays, though...); @AstroSkipper, time to update your "learn.microsoft.com" custom filters ("My filters" tab of uBO) ! 1

Thanks for the reminder! Nice idea to block the Javascript file *.deprecation.js which generates this unwanted banner. I will change the current filter when I am at my desktop computer next time. At the moment, I am writing this using my Android tablet. 1

MilkChan Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 yes it's cambria math fonts thanks for the info and the solution on Windows XP and Windows 10 show it right. But I can't see it. It's okay. 1

Free Serif is used here to display "Omegaverse" in both Pale Moon and Basilisk (official) 2022-09-28. Only Firefox used Cambria Math. I tested on my Linux system. Sorry about that . On Windows XP Cambria is used. BTW, why is the image on the left not displayed? 1

MilkChan Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 (edited) I think the problem is more with the website itself. browsers using chromium display correctly. Edited October 13, 2022 by Taiga-chan 1

FWIW, St52 doesn't seem to have an issue fetching the image itself (no network issues), however the CSS script it's being served is not palatable to UXP: Since it's been shown, here in this thread, that the "non-loading-image" issue also manifests itself in the official UXP apps, it had better be reported to: https://forum.palemoon.org/viewforum.php?f=70 https://forum.palemoon.org/viewforum.php?f=61 5 hours ago, Taiga-chan said: browsers using chromium display correctly. MilkChan Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Yeah, the official program still has problems.
MilkChan Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 I have reported to his forum now. Just waiting to confirm my topic because I just signed up. 2
