Just add a custom user agent in about:config=

@roytam1 Maybe I'm ignorant, but if, after having manually added an entry in about:config, I want to remove/delete it again... where's the delete-button? There isn't one in the context-menu that I see.

You simply have to reset that entry from context menu. If it is a self-created entry, it'll be deleted after refreshing the page or restarting the browser. If it is an entry that already existed and was changed by you, it will be set back to its default value. Anyway, there is no extra delete button. :)

All those who are upset about GitHub and various other sites mass-breaking on the web due to the evil nullish coalescing and optional chaining operators:

Please take a minute to provide a +1 and thumbs up to this community post, to indicate to GitHub that this is a serious matter for them to consider:

I'm not familiar with what a tor "exit" is, but I guess I can assume it falls within what US Law refers to as "aiding and abetting".

I know folks (even here at MSFN) that were very much convinced that the "Tor Network" was the greatest thing since sliced bread as far as remaining "anonymous" on the internet.

It's just hype and propaganda, in my opinion.  If you want to be "connected", then don't for one solitary second think that you are "anonymous".

Cloudflare DNS included.  You simply shift the logs from one server to another, but the logs still exist.  Heck, even DuckDuckGo will admit that.  But ask a user of DuckDuckGo and they'll stand behind the hype until their hair falls out.

Again, just seeking information for others, not myself. I know its hard to find good sliced bread, but even good break crumbs would be a start, yet even those crumbs can lead back to somebody. I do worry about people that seeking even just a little privacy (so to speak, of course)

Use a trusted VPN provider with a no log policy! The Tor Network is well-known and actually great, but if a node is a server of the government or a criminal, then the user may get into real trouble. In principle, anyone can participate in the Tor Network. Nothing for me!

In that case, I would advise myself the following article:

https://chromium.woolyss.com/#privacy

and especially its section

How to really be anonymous on the Web?

All in all, a splendid read! :P
However, privacy and/or anonymity on today's web (and using today's devices) is just a fallacy :sneaky: :(...

Thank you ... I enjoyed reading that. I actually feel the same. Funny, I was thinking about it from recent discussion, when discussing 'certain' topics with others, I tend to worry about them more than myself and their safety. I can't help it, would never forgive myself if I put somebody in harms way.

@roytam1

A sad side effect of the latest New Moon 27 update that the "Inspect Element (Q)" does not work. It will throw an exception and forces closing the browser. Same for all 32-bit variants, 64-bit not tested. So I must revert it to a 16th July release.
