I don't know what to think about the future, all I read/hear about are wars and microplastics everywhere. Not that long ago I watched the documentary, didn't pick on title or just forgot, but it basically said something along the lines that sources of drinking water are being depleted at alarming rate, faster than they can be replenished.

And we're just going about our daily lives like automatons. Tomorrow's just another work day. It's all so absurd.

I read about it in 1982, they said it would've happened in 1990. And no, I'm not a climate change denier.

Not strictly related, but I remember panic about simulations of black hole they were doing at CERN that wasn't literal black hole, but some people believed it'll make a black hole that will eat the Earth. That was over a decade ago.

I wonder if anyone thought about the digital junk. All the stuff that's kept on our storage devices and in data centers. Some say we should think about that as well.

Also, what about celebrities and other rich people? How terrible is the average nobody in comparison? Maybe we're still terrible in numbers. :} But we don't fly around in private jets at least. I don't know, the more I think about it, the more I'm lost in the maze.

Hey, anyone ever told you if all people were like you, everything would collapse?

So on one hand, you can be an average stupid c0ns00m3r, buying junk you don't need and polluting the planet. On the other hand, you can be humble and then you come out as selfish communist and anti-capitalist. "All businesses would collapse if everyone was like you!"

Nothing makes sense.

The World's populace numbers are terrible, agree. "Thanks" to China, Russia, Latin America, Africa and India. I'm in shock how fast they grew in size in the last 30 years, of course if they don't stop to overpopulate the Earth, something terrible will happen to the planet. There's literally no place for animals anymore! In Europe, most of the land is occupied with farms. Thankfully, the locals don't spawn here like rabbits.

I have an explanation. When real capitalists ran the West, everything was fine. Nowadays commies ran the majority of all businesses. I was in shock when discovered they only allow you to buy the exact (low) amount of items in America! Like 3 CPUs in one hands. They started to shove down our throats those limits rather recently. It's not capitalism. It's freaking Soviet Union! In real capitalism you buy whatever amount you want!

The CO2 levels in the earth's atmosphere have doubled since the industrial era of 1700s to now. At only 0.04% it is considered the main contributor to the greenhouse effect here on earth. 'This ability to absorb and re-emit infrared energy is what makes CO2 an effective heat-trapping greenhouse gas. Not all gas molecules are able to absorb IR radiation. For example, nitrogen (N2) and oxygen (O2), which make up more than 90% of Earth's atmosphere, do not absorb infrared photons. CO2 molecules can vibrate in ways that simpler nitrogen and oxygen molecules cannot, which allows CO2 molecules to capture the IR photons.' https://scied.ucar.edu/learning-zone/how-climate-works/carbon-dioxide-absorbs-and-re-emits-infrared-radiation

'SO2 converts to sulfuric acid aerosols that block incoming solar radiation and contribute to ozone destruction. The blocked solar radiation can cause global cooling.'- Bing

Venus is covered by sulfuric acid clouds yet has the hottest average surface temperature of all the planets in our solar system at a calculated 460 deg C. Due to the ~98% H2SO3 clouds, its surface gets about 5% of the solar radiation compared to Earth. It is about the same size as Earth and its atmosphere is 96% CO2. It shows us what the greenhouse effect is capable of and in our closest neighboring planet. Methane has 28 times more warming effect than CO2, NO 265 times and SF6 23500 times.

Iodine 129 is quite stable having a half-life of 16 million years. The nuclear industry does not scrub all of the Iodine from the fuel reprocessing and 5 - 10% of Iodine is released into the atmosphere. The level of Iodine in the atmosphere has trebled since the 1950s. Storms can make Iodine reach the stratosphere and deplete Ozone at a rate of over 700 times that of Chlorine. The latest consensus is that clouds are formed from seeding and earth's clouds contribute to greenhouse effect by keeping temperatures elevated at night. Iodine particulates form aerosols which seed clouds. CERN has done the experiment and even tested in the air surrounding the Maido observatory. Iodine’s reactions in the atmosphere are known to play a role in reducing levels of OH for example, which can increase the lifetime of methane and other greenhouse gases.

Uranium is not usually found in concentrated clusters yet spread thought the world in a more even concentration. There is more to be found in the oceans. You would think that the leaching and pumping and opencut mines would be more damaging to the environment than a conventional mine as more new mines would have to be open in new areas on the land. UF6 depleted Uranium is stored in steel containers. It is a dangerous compound when exposed to moisture, - it releases hydrofluoric acid. Hydrofluoric acid is considered week because it can only have a concertation of up to 70% in water but it will leach glass. Each 1000MW nuclear power plant generates 27 tones of high-level waste which is about 12.5 cubic meters a year. About 1/3 of that has been reprocessed into a more concentrated form although spent fuel needs to be stored on site till it stops generating heat which is about 40 years. Some countries are spending a lot of money on Nuclear but the world will have a lot of accumulated pollutants if fast neutron breeder reactors use up the U238.

Form Energy are making Iron-Air batteries, a safe cheap way to go. AI, if it advances, uses batteries to power their systems. Other fast discharge chemistry batteries can be placed in parallel with iron-air to save space when low internal resistance is necessary, as in AI. They are probably using capacitive input filtered inverters and power supplies. If choke input filters are used the current draw will approach DC.

Care to provide the source? Looks very much like Marx's follower quote. In France, we buy whatever amount we want, and yes, we do think about the climate by making green packagings, for example

Nevertheless - the amount is never limited.

The air in Canada has become drier this winter. I has to buy a humidifier.

Was it the usual steam one, or the nasty sounding ultrasound model? Yes, I do hear them, despite my tinnitus.

I'm sorry, generally i am on your side with your point of view, but here i must correct you a little bit. Ruzzia are not overpopulated. Putler lied in 2018, on his press-conference, that population of his "third reich" is 160 million of people. This is ridiculous lie.

According to former Vice-Prime minister of ruzzia Mikhail Poltoranin population of his country in 2010 was around 89 million people. And it is declining fast.

Here a link of his interview on YouTube - https://inv.nadeko.net/watch?v=r6CMmXUfwx4  (sorry no english subtitles)  in comments also a lot of facts from ruzzian citizens that confirmed that.

Here is fun artcile from russian-american paper (google translate it!) where they count index of grain consuming in country and calculates that in 2010 it was 84 mln of people and by 2017 it was 66 mln people. I mean they have to eat something - they can not survive only on Holy Spirit. :) And considering, that after WW2 bred and grain was idolized and become almost a cult thing in USSR (eastern european nations consume bred more than any other nations on Planet Earth) that calculations should be relatively precise.

Here is also fragment of Alexander Sotnik from May 2023 where he say his informant from ruzzia sad to him that population in 2023 was ~47,9 mln of people.

Note that Poltoranin in video above was doing prognosis, that by 2025 year population of ruzzia should be around 50 mln. people. He was Vice Prime-minister, i think he knows what he talking about. And look how precise turns out to be.

Also officially all real and detail demographic data in ruzzia is complete secret. And they government have this year sudden meltdowns about demographics is ruzzia, and how they need to ban all abortions. And we need to ask - why so? If your population is 160 mln according to your Führer, then why you need to suddenly freak-out so much about declining population?

First and foremost, please don't compare Germans (even by using German words), and by that I mean every German individual, to Russia/Russians.

Germans are the unique nation, to whom we owe so much! Look at their numerous inventions and achievements.

Look at their quality and style of life, they are neat, educated, polite, super good looking people. The better half of what we use every day is only thanks to them! See where I'm going?

Second, I don't trust anything that any Russian says, as it can be their agent simply spreading disinfo.

I had graduated from the military academy, which taught me good. Don't let anyone fool yourself, too.

Take care.

Fun fact, I don't eat bread as it's very bad for my health, thus I'm contributing to the clean planet, colder climate. And Eastern European nations consume more Russia's gas than bread, which is extremely terrible for the planet and their safety/security. It's a much more important fact.

That said, I again want to share a fact that I don't use gas at my home, and the electricity comes from the cleanest French nuclear stations, we, the French, don't depend on anyone!

And the biggest mistake the Germans made, they destroyed their nuclear energy sector.

May i remind you that hitler was not german - he was austrian man that pretended to be german, just like putler is finno-ugric veps\karelian  who pretends to be slavic. Just like  ruzzia mostly (>50%) consist of conglomerate of finno-ugric people who speak slavic language and pretend to be slavic.

P.S. Its hard to me to find sources in english on topic that i write right now. It seems, that despite archeological and genetical ironclad evidence this facts for a western people it is Terra-incognita. It seems like westerners is steel don't understand that ruzzians is basically mix of  finno-ugric people and tatar people (who are turk origin) with dominance of the first one. Even they capital name is Finno-Ugric word! Thousands of rivers, streams, cities and villages NAMES have Finno-Ugric origin - how come on west almost nobody notice that?
