innuendo33 Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 I have the same result as carlitosoo for both active and inactive But I must admit that is confusing , and I finally noticed when I get my settings right , every time I run aeroGUI , it manages to disable inactive window color so I set it once for all and all runs fine .... windows AU 14393.447 X 64

innuendo33 Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 Hi Ziyaad ! My registry seemed corrupted ( Accentcolor , inactive entries missing ) Now all works fine when setting accent tab You are a saver many thanks ! 1
carlitosoo555 Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 (edited) I wonder why the problem with AeroglassGUI only happens with the color black, if I choose any other color for inactive windows works perfect: Even slightly changing the black color in the color editor works fine: But if I choose the "pure" black color, the inactive title bar always is white and the registry key "Accent color inactive" is automatically deleted: Edited November 27, 2016 by carlitosoo555

Alanrh Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 (edited) I believe this goes back as far as win 3.1 & 95 days when you were able to adjust nearly every window component in detail...such as title bar, drop downs, text etc.. somewhat gaudy examples that don't begin to demonstrate everything, but you get the idea. Prado Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 .. After the upgrade to the assembly 479 (3201845), takes off the ventilator to download characters, where to download, and if they are at the moment?
leveltrauma Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Hi there, I use Aeroglass 1.5.1 with donation and sometimes it wont work properly. I checked the debug logfile and found that something went wrong with the D3D11CreateDevice: ::D3D11CreateDevice(NULL, D3D_DRIVER_TYPE_HARDWARE, 0, D3D11_CREATE_DEVICE_BGRA_SUPPORT, NULL, 0, D3D11_SDK_VERSION, &pD3DDevice, &featureLevel, &pD3DContext) failed with 0x887A0004 Is there a way to fix this? Thanks in advance for help

Just a guess since it seems NVIDIA just can't make decent drivers these days like they used to. 1

Lum Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 Is there a way to disable the shadow effect around the edges of the windows? I don't really like it anyway and it seems to be causing graphical glitches on my system, with part of the background app covered by the shadow not rendering correctly.
NoelC Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 The shadow is a resource that's composited around the outside of a window. I doubt that removing it (making it fully transparent) from the theme atlas would result in a reduction of the glitches though. I suspect you have a theme/theme atlas mismatch of some sort. I can't speculate further, but it might help Big Muscle or those who might be able to suggest workarounds if you would describe: What OS you're running. Be precise. Whether you have a 3rd party theme, and what it is and how you've enabled it. What theme atlas you're using with Aero Glass for Win 8+. What you've done to your system in general. -Noel
Lum Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 (edited) Stock Win10 theme No theme atlas 7+ taskbar tweaker to narrow the vertical taskbar to 32p Secondary taskbars provided by displayfusion. Optimus hybrid graphics setup where internal display and right hand monitor are driven off the Intel HD530 and the left hand monitor is driven off the nVidia 960M. Glitch only occurs on the right hand monitor, and tends to be more prominent if the adjacent window is doing hardware scrolling.
