Thanks, actually https://www.ultrasounds.com does work for me in IE8!
I have ProxHTTPSProxy running, but even without it, it still works if I dismiss the security warning message.
With HTTPSProxy running, I do still have to dismiss the "mixed content" warning.

Oh right, I thought it had always worked for me, at least in Firefox.
I've just checked and it's all working fine in Firefox 52.9.0 ESR with Flash version 32.0.0.114, and I'm pretty sure it did on all previous versions too.
IE8 on the other hand has always had a problem in recent times displaying the version and the Flash animation itself on my system.
I just see white spaces where they should be, not even empty boxes!
Flash is working on other test pages in IE though.
:)

Ironically, for me IE8 is the only browser where the Version Information window DID work. Didn't work in Basilisk, Opera 12.18, or IE 11 on Win 7.

... Works here for me with roytam1's Serpent 52.9.0 32-bit browser:

Flash animation successfully shown for a second, but the still ad picture that replaces it afterwards is hidden (by default) by enabled uB0; if I disable uB0 on that page and reload,

FWIW, alternative Flash Player check page, also courtesy of Adobe (HTTPS only...):

To clarify, it works fine now; as @bluebolt pointed out, Adobe finally fixed the thing. It didn't work last month, or for several months before, on most browsers on either XP or Win 7. At least not for me; I guess not for @bluebolt either. The only exception for me where it did work before this month was IE8!

How are you running Chrome Portable on Windows XP?

On the other hand, you're correct, the beta channel for Adobe Flash Player has been updated to 32.0.0.150 and is confirmed working on Windows XP SP3.

I'm just talking about the last version that worked on XP, which I've had since it came out.  I didn't even realize it was no longer available.

By the way, here's where the pepperflash swap-to-update information begins:

I still download the latest Flash (or Flash Beta) Player, install it on an old offline machine I have with a regular Google Chrome installation, pull the pepperflash .dll from there, and use it to update my portable installation.

Anyway you can compress it and upload that somewhere?

Thanks, I'm probably going to compress and upload to my FTP. The file you provided is a stub which will eventually stop working, but I now have the complete download.

Correct, but I did test the link before I posted, and it still works.  Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the 64-bit links; I have just worked my way backwards through version 43, and none of those work.
