Update: I see this was fixed in 2.8.6 - thank you!

For some reason Windows Sandbox isn't showing up in the menu for me (Windows 1903, StartIsBack++ 2.8.5). 

Other changes get picked up immediately (e.g. if I copy and paste an existing shortcut in the directory). I thought it might be a permissions issue, but the values under the Security tab for the Windows Sandbox shortcut don't look any different to normal.

Windows 1903 upgrade disabled me Start is back 2.8.5 (incompatible software) it was needed a fresh reinstall

Sorry for the late reply, the forum didn't notify me of your post till now somehow. That's awesome, I'll fire up my VM and see if it affects anything I use.

Run this in command window as administrator both BEFORE and AFTER SIB++ installation!

schtasks /delete /tn "\StartIsBack health check" /f

Hi there,

 

Installed SIB on 4 or 5 PC, a great software.

However, I installed it on a brand new HP laptop Windows 10 pro 1809

And it keeps saying: "hold escape key to prevent SIB from loading" (see pictures).

Maybe you could uninstall it, and install it again but this time running the installer as administrator. And during installation, select the 'for all' option and not the 'just for me' option.

Rerun setup over and everything goes OK...

I installed it as administrator and use for everybody still the same problem
I don't get it I'am running this software on 3 or 4 machines everything is ok

This a brand new HP laptop with w10 pro and when I restart I got this screen.

And the same error in envent log.

I have customized Windows folders (colors) and with the latest version of SIB, I have that in Start Menu (All Programms)

It was not yellow with previous versions

A bug or is it something else?
I go back to the previous version while waiting
