LAST-FREE-AVG 7.5 (last virus database version 270.12.11/2089, released 04/30/2009).

Kaspersky Internet Security v6.0.2.621 still updates fine under Win98SE as of today 5-May-2009

The newest ffdshow codec does not support Windows 98, any more.

The status should be changed from ONGD to LAST.

Note to Windows 98/ME users
Windows 98/ME support has been dropped starting with revision 2353. The last officially supported build is 2322 and can be downloaded here:
ffdshow rev2322 for Win98/ME

Java J2SE (JRE) 5.0 will reach its End of Service Life (EOSL) on October 30th 2009.

However, J2SE (JRE) 5.0 Update 19 can now be downloaded from the following page

http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index_jdk5.jsp

although a bit of form filling is needed to enable Sun to email you a link for the actual download itself.

Last version of Maxthon downloads a buggy UNICODE version (the version 2.1.5.5612).

Maxthon installer for newer version still download the buggy and obsolete UNICODE version and there is no updated version for w9x so far.

Let's hope there will be one.
