Last Versions of Software for Windows 98SE

Are there any good (either up to date or from the era) programmer editors, with features like syntax highlighting and color schemes?  I've never had much luck running the last supported 5.x versions of Notepad++ (I don't get a save dialog, for example).  I'm trying to avoid the use of KernelEx if possible since I don't use Win98 as a daily driver and want to keep things as stock as possible.

Unfortunately, the only available copy in archive.org is broken. It was tough, but finally i was able to find Citrix Client 9.237 . 9.246 seems like was closed update for subscription clients and may be lost completely.

I did some quick tests on ME and probably the last fully working and stable version is 6.92. I already get access violations with version 7.00.

The developers have probably noticed this with v7.60 now. Version 7 and higher is only of limited use. It starts and runs by clicking the violation messages away. Memory Benchmarks and other things no longer work.
