AaronXP - Yeh I use Diskeeper 6 it kicks a** over the standard defrag tools

Dont know about going missing after a defrag but ur NT Loader, can be missing if u install another O/S .....dual boot u have to check ur boot.ini u can replace it by following this: In the i386 directory of the CD-ROM there will be a file NTLDR._, which is the compressed version of NTLDR. You can expand this file using expand.exe that comes with DOS and Windows for Workgroups expand d:i386ntldr._ c:ntldr. make sure u boot ur puter first in dos

Iactually think that version 4.6 is not good if anything I think it has less options then the previous versions

Found the prob:D ....its the atx connector, seems one of the the wires from the actual plug was a little loose and was only partially connected......ran a voltage reader to check the output of each connection and found a dead one:cool: thanks for the input guys:D

check the properties of ur short cut, and make sure that it is associating it with the wmplayer.exe file. Then go to ur D:/program files/windows media player folder and try clicking the icon in there to see if that one will initials the prog....if so send that one to ur desk top as ur short cut. XP comes with media player 8 so u cant try and install 7.1 as u already have the updated version installed ur other problem is give Win ME the boot as it totally sucks:rolleyes: , and go with win 98 or W2K as ur other boot:blueteam

actually dont notice anything different, but then again dont reaaly use it that much
