I actually have this problem too:cry , anytime I open a second window in IE6 it isnt automatically at the maximized size but at the restore size. Sorry cant help u, played around with tools/folder options and tools/internet options yet it doesnt fix the prob?? not a big deal really , but ur not alone not really a tweaking prob!!

Im running the Dell OEM version of xp so I dont know if there is a difference in the outlook express or the versions that ur running??

Checked my accounts properties, I dont have an advanced tab in my email properties folder only the four other tabs so I dont know what to do now:WTF?: any suggestions!!:eek:

I have a sidewinder freestyle pro usb j/s, although the original software drivers aren't compatible with xp I had it connected when I installed xp and xp installed its own drivers.......... not to sure what u have?? is it serial or usb anyway mine doesnt connect into my asus geforce card are u sure uve installed it correctly does nothing happen when u first turn on the computer? does it not seem to reconize any new hardware?? give us some more info and I will try help u out!!!

Had a look in both options of IE6 and outlook, and couldnt seem to find anything specific which could be the reason for the prob. Might try and change some of the configs and see if I get a different result:rolleyes: thanks for the info:cool: , i will get back to u when or if I succeed

I have a problem with my outlook express, I have two email address set up in it and my default one downloads all my messages twice, its only a hassle when I get alot of emails. Ne ideas!!!:eek:

what version of xp are u trying to install?? Is that a clean install or a an update??........if its a clean install just do it again dont repair previous installation also dont choose to do dynamic update!! good luck

Yeh I get the screen freeze any time I run 3d acceleration, so any games even screensavers will cause my system to reboot then xp gives me that error report........oh well hopefully the next set of detonator drivers will do the trick!!

Yeh I updated my sb live drivers from the ms update site ver/5.10 and the sound quality seems a little better then the ones I got from creative site.....go figure?? still looking for the xp liveware which Im keen to get as I miss my little audio hq

Im running my Geforce mx 400 at only mediocre quality, had to disable all 3d acceleration, drawing etc kept on getting that (infinite loop with nv4_disp.dll) everytime I wanted to play games. I installed ecdc 5.0 and then upped it to 5.02 and then applied the xp update without rebooting it once until I had installed all patches then I let it reboot ..........I have had no probs with it at all, I had to experiment a little when I first installed it cause when I let it reboot before I applied the patches there were always probs!!
