WMPlayer exists but it is not recognized.....????
I´ve tried that but it didn´t work.... I´m thinking that it was an installation problem...... I installed XP again a few weeks ago because of some errors that started to appear.....i found out (with a little help from you....) that it was one 128 Mb memory tha it was bad.....I´m starting to thing that this could cause this problem during the instalation.... I´ll install XP again and I´ll let you know if it solved the problem...(now that the memory is OK....):cool

PC hangs during post boot at RAM check.
I agree with you guys.....I had one similar problem....and I had to change the power suply... One important advice, never...but never....go easy on a power suply....if you think you have a problem with a power suply just bye a new one....it´s much cheaper then a motherboard, for me it was too late and I damaged my motherboard....:wail: :wail: :wail:

Dial Up
Hi.. The problem may not be the drivers or the XP... Check if you´re phone line is pulse or tone first and see what your computer has selected.... See what kind off sound your phone line do before you dial.... Uncheck the "wait for dial tone before dial"... hope this helps....:beer

upgrading from millenium
I have my computer with Windows ME on one Hard Drive and the XP on another( I know it´s not the best way to have it but I need it this way), I still have some programs that doesn´t work on XP.....I had a few errors and still have(and not certain that I wouldn´t had them with a clean install), but I´m satisfied until now....and later , maybe I´ll make a clean istall.... So, go to the BIOS setup, make your computer boot from CD, and make a install of win XP, Win XP won´t make an upgrade, will install "at a side" of ME, and when you start your computer you will choose wich one you´ll work.....:beer

Slow Reaction time?
.....leting C: be you XP drive and D: the drive you can save all other files such as image files.... Now it´s correct....:yeahyeah
-
Slow Reaction time?
60Gb it´s a lot.....I think now it´s too late:D but if you ever need to format the disk try to partition the disk in two or three parts... You could get a significant speed improvement if you have lot´s of small files such as image files.....leting D: be the XP partition and using D: to save all these kind of files....
