Do you maybe have a 1.0 preset which fails, I don't support older versions. Or you just loaded this one? (that wouldn't load all components because some have been changed in name, also printers were separated). You may try to keep the Photo Gallery and Scanners...just shooting in the dark, it's essential to find what breaks it for you then I can fix very easily. But always use latest vLite when testing.

Have you removed (selected on the Components page) the Windows Image Acquisition component? If you haven't then please attach your preset.

Those files in the Keep/Remove boxes are just an example and they are usually what people would want anyway so it's kinda informative to keep it there. You can empty the both boxes of course, no problem. Loading last session. Thing is that as you already figured it out Last Session is what you did last, that's why nLite saves previous last session with the date in the title so that you can load previous one. You can also just load specific page setting from one and other page from another preset when you are on that page, menu is in lower left corner, the Preset.

Madhav, regarding that only weird thing which goes in favor of doing it twice regarding languages...you can extract INTL.INF from the pack and overwrite the one in the i386 folder prior browsing to it with nlite then it will see those new languages before integration. forever_ends and Over.Kill, making the button which actually only saves you from clicking on nlite shortcut isn't such a big deal. I mean instead of Finish - nLite you want just Back. That would be fine by me but I like it to be completely restarted because it would take some adjustments to make sure that everything is in it's original startup position. So I don't justify that work because of one or two saved clicks. It is doable because bigger portion of that restart is done on every preset load (it had to have default settings for all pages) and I may still do it but can't promise it.

Have you booted that DVD or you ran Setup manually? Also is there Autounattend.xml in the root of that DVD?

Don't feel stupid, there should be more visible warning for that. Btw what wasn't removed? I never experienced such thing.

You would have more luck reading the forums of the software you are trying, and simple Google search would reveal plenty guides. Don't be offended and put some effort in it.

Upgrade folder will be removed with the Windows Easy Transfer component. That proves that you didn't actually read what can be removed. If you don't need upgrade functionality you would remove this already. If you ask me all can be removed. You won't die if you install it to another partition for a week and see what you needed to keep then remake ISO with that kept and install on the main partition. Btw don't activate the OS until you're sure that it is the one.

vLite displays the approximate size saved at the bottom of the components page. Just a little warning it kinda exaturrates a little, will be fixing that. 10-20% probably. So if 32bit Ultimate is around 7GB you must remove all for it to fit with the Pagefile...but even then it's questionable.

You didn't pressed the Apply button before making ISO?

Files are on the DVD, unless you have a preinstalled os in your machine and didn't get the DVD then you can't use vLite.

Thing is many of you are making that mistake of doing it in multiple runs when nLite works best if you do all in one go. Meaning put your addons, IE7 and cofigure the OS all in the first run.

You're kinda vague while explaining the issue. What I mean is that vLite doesn't create those entries. So you are either saying that WAIK after vLite modifications is making it like that or vLite should add that entry. Btw thanks for that I'll try it.

Madhits45, thing is with the CAB compression, if you don't remove any drivers and keep it big then that difference is visible. They do some sorting for better compression.

Well I disagree, IF you are already using nLite then it is recommended to use it for the RVM pack integration as well. That way it will take care of sequencing and there won't be any room for mistakes.

You mean that last one, the offlineImage? That's only for MS WAIK tool to automatically load it after opening the xml. And yes, tag is missing, thx.

Thank you for reporting that, nlite.inf on new user creation should only apply the Current User section, not the services entries. I'll be sure to check and correct that. About disabling nlite.inf before installation, no...that would be wrong. What you can do, I guess would be enough, is to remove the nlite.inf from the Default user hive. Start Regedit and go to HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce remove nlite entry there. If that doesn't help then have some patience and I'll fix it.

All can be removed, question is only what do you need to keep, it's up to you to decide. Test it virtually of course.

Let me know if someone has this issue on the English Windows, clean installation files, not previously nlited or anything. If you do then attach the preset please.

Only gameux.dll if you remove Game Explorer.

Talking about 1 in a million. It's because when you overwrite the file libeay32.dll it checks is the already newer version present...but the version is "0.9.8e.0" which is incorrect format as the error said. Too bad that it didn't continue the integration because the error popup is harmless in this case. So gonna compensate, and if you can't wait for the new version then edit resource of that dll and remove the "e" in the version number.
