Did you install latest proper display driver for your VGA/GPU? Also if you haven't removed Aero, as I see you didn't, you shouldn't have tampered with any tweaks around it, just go in the Desktop Properties and select Aero Glass, you have to select it if WinSAT is removed, it won't do it automatically, that's the only difference. Otherwise if there is no Glass on the list then it's either the wrong tweak or wrong display driver. Note: Glass is not in the Themes page, it is in the Windows Color and Appearances in the Desktop properties (Personalize).

FrozenBlade, I presume that you said that older version now doesn't work while it did before. In that case check your windows source path, make sure it's something simple like C:\XPCD and also never copy it to the root of some partition, it must be in the subfolder. Then try disabling the resident antivirus protection, if present. You can actually set it to scan on execute only, that helps general performance as well. Also try without some pages like Driver integration or Hotfixes/Addons...that can point to the issue quite fast. If you figure out why it suddenly happens let me know so that I may reproduce the issue and fix, thx.

You say that Aero is enabled but it doesn't seem so from that screenshot. Can you confirm that?

You mean disable all Visual effects? Try to do so in the Tweaks - Visual effects, but usually those specific tweaks didn't work for some before, could be different now.

Hi, thanks for the contribution. Now just so you know nLite already does that for a year or so (check the sfcfiles.dll, maybe I made some mistake) but the thing is that SFC still popups for some files due to the broken signatures of certain INF files. Also Front Page extension (even if not removed) is most often in my tests to be prompted by SFC, beats me why...probably signatures again.

What is the status of this issue? I'm still getting the error as of today on v1.3.5. I started from scratch with a clean config and a clean XP-SP2 source. Hitting escape gets around it, but beleive it or not I have techs stupid enough to call me every time they see it (after the 3rd email explaining it). That's why in the license states "only for personal usage".

You probably didn't enable the Bootable ISO page button on the Task selection. You can select only that page the second time, no need to reintegrate the driver.

Thanks for reporting. But it's tricky with all those addons, could be some of them because I never stumbled on those files missing. Could be that they are removed by nlite and same files are in the addons, then nlite removed the file and addon rewrote the entries, then you get missing file. If you confirm, find which addons have those files, please post a link to them and I'll try to adapt to that. As for that error on pressing Back don't know, it's something in the recorder GUI, some simple mistake but without precise instructions how to repeat it it's beyond the radar.

Indeed. In the other topic was also recently confirmed that there is something with WMP removed that shouldn't, some registry entry. I will soon be on it, in the meantime keep the WMP.

Thank you guys. I'll check where could be the issue, on first look there is nothing directly related to the cameras intentionally removed but there is always a possibility of a simple class reg entry missing.

As for the other issue, WMI errors, try keeping the: Performance Counters Reliability and Performance Monitor I will for sure check if it's possible to bypass the dependency, thx for reporting.

If you have selected Full Unattended for the Unattended mode try Hide Defaults or Provide Defaults. And now that you mention it there really isn't an option to skip the Regional settings.

I don't see lg_monitor_driver_crt&flatron[1].zip file in that package. Basically just next time remove that zip, you probably left it in by accident after decompressing.

It's not weird, themes are usually more than just one file. Also the help on that page says "and their folders". Usually the themes have Shell folders, that's why.

If you look at the vLite - Apply methods it has under 1. same as you describe, that's just saving changes. Under 2 is the Rebuilding, that is Export in the imagex.

Could be, are you sure that 0.9 works? Try to keep these next time Application Experience, Windows Media Player, Windows Media Codecs, System Information. Also you don't have to burn the CD to test the install, just run the setup and make sure that it's installed on some other partition which you can delete from your main os...or if you have another machine.

While it does seem like a great idea, and it is, nlite already had that before...reason why I decided to drop it is because everyone is using newer codecs which are not included in the Windows (wmp 10 and 11). So since we all install newer after install what is the point of keeping the old ones. And of course there were some issues with embedded web video when only codecs kept, needed some more work. therube, grays out if there is no WMP or it is not selected for removal.
