  1. Don't remove anything if you plan on installing SP after install. Or when it's released get a preintegrated installation and customise it.
  2. I also heard that MS disabled this from SP1.
  3. sp00f, I had some MSN logon issues these days as well, may not have anything to do with removals. Also 1.1.1 keeps 2 files more, doesn't remove more so also no point in looking at the removals if you used the same preset.
  4. Vista runs better with newer hardware and dual core so maybe it's best to keep the XP. Unless you want to remove Aero then it looks similar to XP and easier on the cpu. Also if you have less than 1GB of RAM XP is again better choice.
  5. Is there a problem? I'm using Vista x64 with nVidia drivers integrated and they are installed automatically. But you are maybe using a beta version (169.28) which then will require F8 - Disable Driver Signature Forcing on each reboot, that's Vista x64 policy. Try the latest official WHQL signed (169.25) http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x64_169.25_whql.html
  6. Oh it just hit me maybe I got you wrong, not on Vista load but on vLite load/browse? Read this and let me know if that is it: http://www.vlite.net/archive.html
  7. For starters please attach the preset used.
  8. Only limitation is that you cant integrate 64bit hotfixes and language packs from 32bit OS as a host. (you could install the 64bit host in a virtual machine and do it from there) Haven't seen any post-sp1 hotfixes yet.
  9. I appologize for a sloppy job this time with the site, first I missed the .1 in the download link and now the MD5. Corrected, thx.
  10. Great. I'll forward this to Arneh, the guide author.
  11. Of course you can use your key if it's legal but also keep the downloads legal as well. Wait for Microsoft release to see how it is going to be.
  12. Seems like your capturing went wrong for some reason. What command did you use to capture, what was on which partition, if you can describe the scenario in short? Also I presume that you followed the guide to the letter.
  13. naman, first press Apply - Rebuild One, then after it's done make the iso. You enabled the ISO page before Apply, read the description on the Task selection page for more info.

    error, please

Ok your Keyboard under the Unattended - Regional is empty set. Please choose any of your liking. And let me know which one you have installed on your Windows on which you run vLite (because it actually detects and tries to set that one). If there is no keyboards on the list let me know.
  15. Not included.
  16. Antivirus wouldn't hang the cabinet creation, what it would do is cause nLite to use 100% CPU (or 50% in dual core) because it scans anything that nLite passes through. But it would still move...slow but forward. Yours hangs there, that's kinda new, we'll need to go through some test versions if you are up for that, PM me.

    nlite runonce issue

You can explore the nLite - Unattended - Runonce page. Read the help there under the ? button.
  18. Ok thx.
  19. wibni, have you selected the ISO page in the Tasks selection?
  20. Got the similar report with modified nVidia INF, must be some limitation during installation, not sure about that. Since every driver is treated the same and others work I'll have to skip this one, I hope you don't mind.
  21. Yes you can integrate any, Windows should pick the proper one. Do you maybe have a Nforce motherboard or integrated any other SATA/RAID driver? Also if you integrated and haven't properly sorted the hotfixes it may happen. Attach your preset please.

    vLite on Vista SP1

    Thx, fixed.

    vLite on Vista SP1

    Update released, thank you all.
  24. Pardon my hasted reply, I just now realized that you were talking about the post-install update. Sorry but no, wouldn't even think about it. It would take too much time and at this point I'm not even sure if it's possible without their TrustedInstaller privileges. I would rather spend my time on reinstalling once and making more options, then reinstall again You have 30 days to activate so make best of them, try many combinations. All of that just because one doesn't want to reinstall is asking too much, IMHO.
  25. That was the way I was about to go but reverse integration routine (capture) and MS preintegrated releases are keeping me out of it. No point in risking stability.
