1. I believe you can delete Assembly if the only thing you run is vLite. Runtimes needed to run .NET 2 apps and vLite are in the C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727 2. Many can but better not to play with that, it is difficult to fix. Anyway I might add .NET removal in the future so have a little patience, it just sits there anyway. 3. in Winsxs vLite saves needed runtimes for Windows and parts of hotfixes needed for install to pass. It's difficult for me now to know what those hotfixes parts are and so you delete them by hand. Best to leave it as it is, there are plenty of needed folders. I might add post install deletion of those hotfix leftovers, I'm interested in that myself.

Alex, 1. parts which remove that access are used in Network Center and in Manage Other Users so it's a no brainer to keep it 2. Was that before you enabled/disabled the UAC or after? There is that option, hidden because it doesn't work any more. It did work with earlier SP1 releases which were bigger (offline type). MS will release an ISO with SP1 in it or integrate it yourself with "capture" if they don't give that ISO for free, that's what I do. Search for more info, discussed many times.

I tried it and it worked fine, even selected Wordpad. But your version shows:6.0.6000.20580, meaning that you integrated hotfixes into it before vLite. It's probably the cause so please post a list of integrated hotfixes. It's not your mistake, it's just probably some hotfix changed a certain part, it happens. Also you remove Table Driven Text Input Processor but keep Chinese languages which need it, you probably disabled the dependency checker in Options otherwise you would see the annoying warning. Btw try removing those languages, it's safe and they are big.

I see that your target is already vLited, you must integrate hotfixes into the clean, full Vista. You can also remove from it whatever you want but it must be in the same process, or remove later. Also reboot your pc once if you havent as the popup says.

So you didn't try any other burning software? Then simply use another burning software after the ISO is made with vLite. I would fix it if it was up to me, that control is maintained by another company, I just have royalty free license. Also don't forget that it works for majority, maybe it doesn't support DVDRAM as well.
