In the mean time, if you must make an ISO, and have a nLited XPCD ready with Ryan's update pack already in it, just open nLite and stop at the slipstream page and browse to the new up date and integrate it, just like it was sp2, works perfect.

it's cdrom hdd off in the bios EDIT I should make clear the removable hdd is for storage only there is also a main hdd w\OS on it...

well the machine will and won't boot. If the removeable hdd (storage drive, WD 80GB JJ) is turned on, the main hdd won't boot, with "missing NTLDR" message. Turn off the removeable hdd and she boots fine...... Now if I put the unattended nLited cd in the cdr, with the removable hdd turned on, it also boots???? Removeable is made by Kingwin\Vantec..... @ Prathampl yes it's there, poor old eyes didn't see it, if listed your as you did in your post could have seen better....... not a big deal, spent long time looking and 2min finding in registry. thanks bonedaddy

no nLite shrinkage? you best check that because I had the same error with unreleased ver of nLite this morning. As Nuhi said please don't complete install as I did anyway, many bugs.......... windows installer (msi not installing) and the sp2 bug to start.

made a few tweaks in txtsetup and still BSOD

started with the htp374 controller and...... has a winxp folder and I just dropped th textsetup.oem in it, nLited,integrated that folder and the hdd was found, good news. so decided to contiue install and BSOD after reboot, common with raid driver install, back to the drawing board.

I've always installed as so; .sys .cat .inf textsetup.oem from winsif OemPnP..... and there are no problems, I would think Nuhi would want the install to go as Cantankerous states. Not everone is going to know how to set this all up. Of course I could be wrong, maybe raid\sata will be Expierenced only area. @QNX no I just clicked on reg manuf .inf, I'll do it the way I have in the past but intergrate via nLite, installing from CD, by the way.

The older ver's of nlite use a cmd file run from, I think hive, that pops up on the destktop just seconds after the desktop does. This is very powerful, I just add my cleanup stuff right to the cmd and everything is deleted, all the icons. the printing thing in startmenu, driver and install folders, all gone. So if you don't use nLite perhaps you can use Nuhi's method.

you might try putting RunOnceEx back in $OEM$ and paste this to notepad [COMMANDS] "RunOnceEx.cmd" and call it cmdlines.txt, then copy to $OEM$ as well instead of using GuiRunOnce works for me and is suggested in MSFN guide

if you are using nero 63120, rt click on it and open with winrar you will see command on rt side, in it is silent 2. you need to change it to silent 1 and keep the switch as is when finished.

open with winrar and change silent2 to silent1

If you want to copy, not install just ; $OEM$\$PROG\EAC\Exact_Audio_Copy_V0.95_prebeta5 and that will copy it to C:\Program Files\EAC\Exact_Audio_Copy_V0.95_prebeta5 If I understand you correctly
