  4. @ nuhi I thought of that, have looked thru them found 16bit in diff location so I removed it no change, I'll try w\o any tweaks, sleep is on it's way. bonedaddy

  6. @ nuhi sorry I was cleaning up sp1 reduction, don't use nLite for sp1 use another method........ refering to the large spaces in textsetup, sp2 is tight and I use nLite for that, of course. bonedaddy
  7. @ nuhi short question all those large spaces created in txsetup, do they slow things down at all? bonedaddy
  8. @ nuhi here is something for ya "the unattended forum" in 10 days nLite is 3rd in most replies (169 pages) soon to be #1 in 10 days nLite is 11th in views (169 pages) #7 in a short amout of time just shows what impact this tool has thanks nuhi bonedaddy

  12. @ nuhi config.nt autoexec.nt command.com bonedaddy EDIT checked the disk post burning and all three are there, but are not being installed.......
  13. @ anyone can someone tell what I'm selecting that would prevent sleep.exe from runnig infact it throws a balster that says or something like that thanks bonedaddy only with beta 5 6 and 7
  14. @ BtSneaky I just increased my computer speed 10 times amazzing what I mean is that I have 4 comp's to maintain and re- ducing the size of your pack just for those will save me space, many here are just home users, I think......like Ryan's raid drivers, I just deleted all not needed in 006_storage. and went from 4.5mb to 1.8mb, but txsetup and dosnet remain the same, does this make since?? thanks bonedaddy
  15. @ markymoo thankyou bonedaddy
  16. @ Bashrat & Ryan its great you're working together on this perhaps a method to reduce size for the home user is possible? great work on sound and raid packs thanks for your time bonedaddy
  17. @ nuhi with beta 5 no problem with logagent.exe only beta 6, rechecked both. bonedaddy
  18. @ nuhi got error can't find logagent.exe after deleting MSagent using Beta 6 bonedaddy EDIT Well I deleted that also
  19. @ nuhi Hey man slow down I went to bed when 5 came out and woke up to 6, no burn-out aloud....... bonedaddy EDIT Have a special Day nuhi, it's 22 today right??
  20. @ nuhi 5 is looking good! @ greenmachine I'll try to tighten up as for the rhyme! don't have the time....... bonedaddy
  21. Hi nuhi I like the concept of keeping this a portal for reduction only, perhaps just the reg cleaning you are going to attend to and as mentioned earlier, more control of what is deleted. For instance my wife has to have the dinosaur cursor, I really don't want much else there. Well you get the idea. thanks bonedaddy
  22. @nuhi the ATI problem finally went away when I installed from oempnpdriv........ thanks bonedaddy
  23. or it won't work with the volume lic cd? bonedaddy
  24. @nuhi wow great tool! works well, just finished jdboeck's method for sp1 and was wondering about sp2, taken care of........ I am going to request for more control of what drivers go or stay (need to keep some display drivers) some day when you have time perhaps? thanks and a hand clap for you bonedaddy
  25. first off thanks to "edomais" his simple, but effective post fixed my problem!!!! I have promise 20276 raid\ata controller I can get raid to install without f6 via RyanVM method but not the ata, why do I care, bootup time reg ide, 109sec, ata 34sec and cable switching... RyanVM has sent me many drivers to try we finally gave up and I settled for the raid working. Saw edomais's post and tried it and WOW it works, and so simple; In winnt.sit OemPnPDriversPath="Drivers\006_IDE;" Then $Oem$\$1\Drivers\006_IDE\TXTSETUP.OEM,your.sys,your.inf,your.cat no f6, just let her go..... any way as everone says here,"It worked for me" and thank you "edomais" try it and post back here if you want bonedaddy EDIT I forgot to mention I still use RyanVM's method I just add to his and over write the sys inf and cat files
