Did you try updating the drivers through Device Manager using the package from the link I gave you or you just ran the setup?

As Zenskas said, your graphics card is just not up to the par. In the game requirements it says that you need a 64 MB 3D Card with Hardware Transform & Lighting (T&L) Capability which yours isn't.

Right after the POST screen, hit F8 and choose "Enable VGA mode" under Windows XP. Does this work? It might be that the monitor / graphics card cannot support the resolution / refresh rate set initially by windows setup.

Please post a screenshot with the permissions applet.

You will have to integrate the chipset drivers onto that cd. What motherboard do you have?

When you bought it, did it come with a CD? There *should* be drivers for 98 on it...

Just got an Eten Glofiish x500. Phone, PDA and GPS AIO. Good battery life too (~4 days of normal use).

I'm with Kel here. Build7022 was an INTERNAL build, never meant for public use. So unless you work for Microsoft you were never supposed to get your hands on this build. If you did through torrents or any other means but an official download from Microsoft, you are explicitly admitting on using warez and that will not be tolerated on MSFN, yet asking for help. Please search on Wikipedia what warez means if we were not explicit enough to keep yourself out of trouble.

Are you running any Norton products on your pc? (antivirus, security package, etc..).

Any proof of that? A link at least? Repair install does NOT upgrade the OS! The upgrade you refer to is not actually an upgrade, it's only turning on features that are locked in lower versions of Vista.

You can not upgrade the same OS, even though there is a newer build. Period. The same was with Vista and nothing's changed in Windows 7. Also, you cannot go from one architecture to another (x86 to x64 or the other way around), you ALWAYS have to do a full install.

It just won't fit on 8GB...

Are you uninstalling it through Programs and Features in Control Panel? Your issue doesn't sound normal, but then again I never heard of those games either...
