  1. Have you checked for firmware update on router? Also, try unplug the power for 1 min, then plug the power back in. If all else fails reset the router back to default settings, then do the install like it just came out of the box.
  2. What A/V and firewall software are on the computers? Some software will block what you are trying to do.
  3. The os is XP? Just want to check.
  4. It would be a lot of work to switch to a new program. I have 20 different CPU models. With 4 images per CPU. 80 images to download then upload.
  5. My company is looking to buy the new ver of Symantec Ghost. Symantec web site says it works with vista and 64bit OS's. Any one tried using it with ghost?

  8. I have some clients that I am looking to move from tape backup to disk backup. Clients have backup exec software. Does anyone have any suggestions as to an external hdd I can backup to? It can be network or attached to the server. I do not want to use usb due to speed. Also price is an issue due to they are a non-profit.
  9. Can you set "out of office" in OWA for this user? Also, is this the only 2007 user that has this problem?
  10. What are the log files?? Would help to know what the message is.
  11. One problem you will run into. You can get destination host unreachable if your network gets a lot of traffic, or the machine you are pinging gets to many request. Also, some A/V programs will think you are a hacker doing DOS if it is non stop pinging. I have been using a program called "Is it up" to monitor cpu's and devices.
  12. You can use a program called "Windows Steady State" to restrict access, rights etc... Free download from MS. It can also be set to reset back to a deafult settings after reboot, Nice feature when running a internet cafe and people make changes or download files. But you will have to admin it on each cpu.
  13. Do you have the SP installed for your OS's? This was fixed in a vista SP.
