  1. Hello and welcome to THE forums! Could you post the lastsession.ini from your vlite disk? It seems that you removed some files necessary for the upgrade.
  2. Exactly what I told him... He's fine now. Thanks for your input
  3. A friend of mine is connecting through PPPOE via cable directly to the ISP's server, no routers, OS is Vista Business. He's a bit paranoid now...
  4. Just a quick question: are ISP's allowed to see one's OS? And if yes, how do they do it?
  5. Are you guys having a manually-entered IP address on your machines or do you rely on your routers to provide one?
  6. Is the optical drive SATA or IDE? If it's IDE, when you boot the machine, go in BIOS and enable the JMicron item. Good Luck!
  7. Thanks for pointing out, didn't notice when i installed it... Fixed now, it was bending down because of the pipe coming from the CPU. shortened it and now it's ok
  8. Upgraded mobo and cooling system: Rig now running a Q6600 with 8GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2 @ 1066 MHz, 2 x 320GB SATA2 Western Digitals, some crappy LG DVD-RW (ain't using it much) on a DFI Lanparty BI P45 T2RS Elite, powered by a Thermaltake 470W PSU with active PFC inside a Raidmax Ninja Black case, cooled by an Alphacool liquid circuit. Using Vista Busines x64 and 7 x64 dual-boot (each OS on its own HDD, selected from BIOS).
  9. First off it's nitroshift, NOT nirtoshift and secondly, looking *again* on the creative website reveals that the mixer is not supported under Windows ME (it doesn't show up in the download list for Win ME).
  10. Sorry to be the one to let you know it's definitely broken... The amount of movement is *waaaay* too great for an objective, it shouldn't move at all the way yours does.
  11. First off, welcome to THE forums! For tracing problems with your connection you can run the ping command from your laptop against your router and see if there are any packet losses. The syntax is: ping router_IP -t. Good luck!
  12. I don't know whether you want to include a romanian translation too, but if you do, I can help you out with that.
  13. Too bad I ain't living in US...
  14. You could upload somewhere the memory dump file (MEMORY.DMP located in %systemdrive%\Windows) for us to have a look. Most likely the blue screen is caused by a bad RAM module.
  15. 1. The link is not working. 2. For best troubleshooting, please configure your machine for a full memory dump and upload it. nitroshift
  16. You need DDR PC-3200 clocked at 400MHz, but the maximum amount supported by your motherboard is 2GB.
  17. I'm in need of some info (and help)... What I want to achieve is to receive sms notifications on my mobile phone from one of my servers (running Windows Server 2008 x64) when specific events occur. I do have a USB premicell that connects OK to my server, so hardware-wise I'm good to go. All I need now is the software package that lets me do that. Thanks for your help!
  18. hey no need to get angry mabye you are a better seacher then me becasue i did seach for them I was and am not angry, but before posting here *always* search the manufacturer site... Just a hint
  19. It took me less than 30 seconds to locate them here. I'm sure if you searched for it, you would have found it. Period.
  20. It might be that the increased streaming speed overflows the buffer in network card driver... Can you update the network card driver, test and report back here?
  21. Hello and welcome to THE forums! For what operating system are you trying to locate the driver for? On a different note: can you give me a ftp address where i can upload the XP driver for you?
  22. What Doggie said above
  23. Been using W7 build 7070 x64 for over a month now... no issues (too big to notice). Games run smoothly and overall feel is better than Vista
