guess this makes me 2nd are we able to slipstream the .net sp1 as well? why don't they release a full install of a service pack, I mean without the need of installing .net 1st then sp1.

yes I know u can save them separetly, I'm also wondering what'd happen if 1 cab was not present. but I think it will be okay if the cab is not present and that component is not selected to install just dled the rar. will give it a try now

hi there I use 4 different spyware tools (run them all when I feel like) but I keep pestpatrol running on my parents computers cause it has protection for mem and keyloggers and stuff.. I think ad aware has something similar but i don't use adaware that much.. also @Treeman check your sig u wrote 1mb ram instead of 1gb (well I hope u don't have 1mb ram ) also great computer!!

well that's actually why I've posted my system here, maybe someone with a similar config well here's what my little experience on oc says: I tried to change the multiplier to 12 12,5 or something like that and it gives errors (its on 11 now) so would it be about voltage maybe memory latency? fsb? abc? def?

well if u want specific components I'd say go with Mazin's method. a specific lite version I'm sure could be done (I have 1 for myself, pretty lite ) as u said lite as in nullsoft's lite would be more appropiate I've 1 idea though I'm not sure how it'd be accomplished maybe alanoll can put every component into a separate cab file and the msi would only install the one's that exist so the folder contents will look like this winamp.msi (about 300kb) audio components.cab (1.5mb) video components.cab (1.5mb) and every main component could have its own sub components if alanoll's willing to spend his time on saving few mb's mp3.cab wma.cab modernskin.cab

Hi there I'm on the Hell mission of doom3. (pretty scary ) and I've this end of level maniac sitting in front of me throwing everything he got at me has anyone beat it yet? I'm having difficult time. died plenty of times already (thanks to saving :B) any tips to beat it? they whisper kill the little helpers he got, but they respawn so fast, I've BFG gun with 4 shots but it doesn't die! ****

also pls specify if u like its ATI or nVidia cards and why in particular. also specify the chipset (ie. Asus nVidia Fx 5700, ATI Radeon X800, etc.) to be more specific could u also say which games u played at what resolution and what graphics quality? and did the game run smoothly? Thanks

hi there I instead of buying something new, decided to overclock my pc I've Asus A7V8X-X Kingston 512MB PC2700 Ram Athlon XP 2500+ (currently on 1.833MHz) 300W Power Supply now with this in mind how can I best overclock my system? the multiplier, the ram spd, everything Thanks!! heh I know not much of a system (parents.. )

that I experience on my desktop as well. if I boot it up and wait until all the startup items gets loaded and all the hardware is recognized it works properly if I start pressing or clickling somewhere on the screen it restarts giving no error at all. it wasn't doing it for a while but today about 5 hours ago after I installed the 61.76 drivers back again (someone said colim m rally5 worked with those drivers) and then this incident happened.. not too sure?? I remember changing the rams bc of this. now they're kingston's, I dunno ... what's in that ms article I cannot seem to open it??? hmm actually good idea u just did there I should check the log too. will report tomorrow (in about 9 hrs..)

u've set a wrong parameter when trying to slipstream sp2. follow a guide to do this.

dvd shrink - dvd2one --> rip dvd strip unwanted parts of it, burn dvd decrypter --> to rip the dvd to hdd and burn it to dvd www.doom9.org has very good info on these. also check out http://www.videohelp.com/ (they're maintaining right now...)

redl? or check your disk for problems also defragment it, sometimes (rarely) u could have cross-linked files on the hdd.

well I wouldn't have any problems with the slots since I'm not using any pci cards. everything's on-board. 2nd I know its expensive but i'm looking for a smaller case. after all I don't understand why these days we need the big cases back in 5-10 years ago yes we needed big cases bc we'd put lots of isa pci cards but, ethernet is onboard, audio is onboard, some graphic chipsets are onboard. so I really think its time to shring the mb size
