same here (off topic: and for some reason the stupid nvidia driver update still exist on my wu, I don't understand that?? i've 61.77) i think its pretty strange for the tcpip.sys to act differently on different computers its a sys for sake. how can it be different? why should this be specific to some users? ow btw do u have a link to dl it? well on xp update there was a fix for this type of virus (its caused by the virus) anyways I'm not sure but u can try this (I've done it b4 for other reasons and for other services.) go to services.msc find Remote Procedure Call (RPC) go to properties of it go to recovery tab there change everything to "take no action" other thing u can do put a little batch file on the desktop like this [b][prevent.bat][/b] shutdown -a though i'm not sure if win2000 had shutdown.exe but i assume u can easily copy it. but best of choice would be to remove the virus as javagreen mentioned. symantec has lots of tools for it.

hi there I after looking for nice adsl modems like linksys netgear etc. I couldn't find any of them in Turkey (yea it sucks, most products are coming from Asia...) so then I just asked the guy working in the comp store to give me the most bought one (I didn't care after not being able to find anything that I wanted ) and now I've this E-CON MC8000ue adsl modem/router/switch. (4 ports) well I'm using emule and i'm sure everyone knows the obvious question. I've to forward the ports to my ip so that I can have high id. now does anyone know how to accomplish this on this modem? it doesn't have the usual stuff (I just found out that this modem was released in 2000.) so it sucks here are the menu's couldn't really make much out of these.

remove the serial key from the post... what kind of bsod is that? if that's all u've removed don't even use nlite. manually delete the upgrade folder in i386 folder if u want. about languages if u're dream is to rip stuff of the cd delete the LANG folder otherwise those lang files don't do much unless u install them.

well u can still use it right (i had it 3 days ago deleted after finding out about everest, but i'm sure its on the internet )

well if u're missing the pro line i'm sure there are already kernels compatible with sp2 that have pro line on them. just search themexp.org (I think that's right gotta check bookmarks)
