  1. You speak Geek *AND* Mandarin? You are clearly a gifted individual Welcome!
  2. No problem, no hurry. I was just curious. Litestep themes can be very appealing (to me) so I was just going to take a look if you had it at deviantArt or similar. You may be interested to hear the Litestep theming is experiencing something of a revival these days due to some innovate new modules.
  3. I'm not that intrepid. Instead, I just searched around for a theme that fit my tastes and then modified it bit. Wallpaper, bar modules, scripting, etc. Did you publish your theme?
  4. I agree that method would be much better. Running a script to gather the right images would be much faster than generating the images. Does this then become a JS scripting issue?
  5. As I read the first post and look at this drama unfold, I can't help but feel that a reminder may be in order to save people some trouble: 8. 6. This will likely be platform dependent. What OS are you using? For Unix, many programs leave a *.pid file when they are running, or you gan grep top. Might have to use vb for windows.
  7. I think that gamehead200's dynamic sig guide could be adapted to meet your needs: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=47730
  8. http://images.google.com/images?q=parchmen...p;imgsz=xxlarge Don't forget to check the copyright!
  9. First post is updated with your recommendations.
  10. Old poll... Litestep all the way! I couldn't be happier with it.
  11. I don't think there is an option to do that, but you might be able to do it with VBA. That sort of intercept-trickery is beyond me so good luck to you
  12. Ensure that the font and "style" (the box to the left of the font) are correct for each text area. If you are using a non-TrueType font somewhere on accident then that can cause printing problems. You could also try printing from another computer or reloading/updating your print drivers.
  13. You can use find/replace. It is a bit tricky since you can't see the spaces or tabs in the find/replace boxes, but it works.

  15. Is that even possible? Seems like that would negate the security feature.
  16. cpearson is a great resource for this sort of thing and here is their page on color banding. You may be able to adapt it to your needs. http://www.cpearson.com/excel/banding.htm Alternatively, you could also just do a custom sort and exclude the data that you want. That would effectively hide it.
  17. Don't forget to join the US Army after you play the game. This is a marketing tool Small price to pay for a free game, huh? ;p
  18. I'll move this topic to the XP64 forum. Maybe you'll have better luck there and it looks like that may be a more appropriate place for your question anyway. [ moved ]
  19. Download has timed out on host.
  20. An authentic Texan intro! Howdy
  21. You could just setup a spam folder for the mail instead of deleting them. That way you can look in there and see what is going on.
  22. I currently use Thunderbird but am migrating to Outlook 2003 for the groupware features. I have multiple email accounts setup and managed within Thunderbird in this manner: Notice that each account has its own respective inbox, outbox, sent items, etc. I want to set Outlook up in the same manner by having the different accounts linked/associated to its own .pst file. Googling has revealed two main methods: 1) Use the rules wizard to sort incoming mail from multiple accounts into different folders 2) Use separate Outlook profiles Neither of these really meet my goal. The rules wizard method isn't robust enough (no separate outbox, trash, etc.) and the Outlook profiles method would, I believe, require closing/opening Outlook to check each account instead of just leaving the application open. I did see one post on the net that said "there is an option" to do what I want, but it didn't explain how to do so.
  23. I know that there are a lot of college students on this board so some of you might find this useful: http://ottobib.com/ You just feed it an ISBN and it generates a citation for you in any of four different formats. This will save me a lot of time on my next paper! There was no advertising, except for some fairly useful Amazon recommendations, on that site as of this writing. MSFN and I are not affiliated with it.
  24. You need just one of those. But it is required, yes.
  25. Another thing that worries me about Flash: ubiquity. What other software is as ubiquitous as Flash? I can't think of anything. It is cross-platform, global and has loyal users who upgrade quickly. Think about the security and privacy implications of that.
