  1. What exactly do you mean by "Virtual Machine Additions"?
  2. 1.0 is out! Wahoo! Great job, Tomcat76 and everyone else!
  3. @Kiki: Tomcat76 repackaged RogueSpear's VMWareTools switchless installer so that it is more compatibile with HFSVCPACK. You can download that version here. It is working well for me so far.
  4. I intend to test this in VMWare but won't be able to do so until next week.
  5. @a06lp: There seems to have been lots of great info contributed to this topic since the last time you edited the first post. Is an update in order?
  6. I recall seeing something about that file on FDV's site. Probably related to .chm. Would it be better to use Oleg's studly method or to just not reduce those files in the first place?
  7. I agree. Welcome!
  8. That is all good info to have in this thread. I'm going to run with the IE5 core for now and see how things go. I'll try the 6 core if I hit significant roadblocks. Thanks for the tip!
  9. OK, that is cool. If you ever wanna implement a dynamic PDF generator just let me know
  10. Aw, shucks
  11. That is cool, and I intend to try that, but I am still curious why you install IE6 and then reduce it instead of just patching IE5 and reducing in kind. Something about the IE6 DLLs turns you on?
  12. We're working on it. Thanks for the notification.
  13. Do you use your IE reducers? If so, why do you install IE6 instead of using the IE5 hotfixes?
  14. Right. For example, my flag's filename is http://www.msfn.org/board/style_flags/us.gif and the "us" indicates United States. I believe that ISO 3166 is the definitive reference.
  15. This forum post outlines a way to test RAID drivers in VMWare. Not sure if it is worth the effort, though, since Oleg seems to have this working and the VMWare method only lets you test the VMWare drivers; it cannot be configured to test others.
  16. @TC: Do you already have a plan for implementing the PDF feature? If not, I can probably rub some PHP on it and see what happens. Let me know.
  17. Until a decision is made on whether or not to implement this, you can right click on the flag and view the file name of the flag image. The name reflects the country name.
  18. Oh, that That number reflects the last 24 hours in a progressive, dynamic fashion. If you post 10 times right now, those posts will be counted for the next 24 hours. 25 hours from now it will show that you haven't posted at all for "the day." If you post 5 times now and then 5 more times in 12 hours, the counter will show that you have posted 10 times until 24 hours after your first five posts. Then it will display 5 posts for 12 hours after that. Am I making any sense? There is probably a better way to describe this...
  19. We have had an issue or two relating to timezones, but this doesn't sound like one. Please be more specific about what counter you are referring to.

    Codec slipstreaming

Yeah. It either works really well or there isn't much interest.
  21. Enjoy your birthday!
  22. Unfortunately I just setup my RAID machine recently or I would use it to test this. There is probably a way to simulate this with VMWare but I am not at home right now to tinker with it. But with VM you can only test a very limited set of scenarios.
  23. Welcome to the forum, SeraMana! It would have been nicer if you had coordinated with us for your web page but thankfully you didn't claim it all as your own as that other person apparently did. I'd be interested to see TommyP's endorsement of this as well as a possible integration of your translation into the main site. Again, welcome!
  24. I was reading this page today and found some neat stuff. http://www.comfortkeyboard.com/index.htm has tons of really neat, unique products. One commentor posted this: And several people advocate the removal of arm rests. I personally use a chair with adjustable rests and sometimes move them to their lowest setting to temporarily nullify them. I find it interesting the lengths we go through to adapt our bodies to the modern lifestyle.
