  1. Coupla things: Update your ryanvm integrator The dell source may be the origion of your issues as dell LOVES to add s*** to these disks that rvmi and nLite do not handle well
  2. SEARCH.. MSFN and AppDeploy.com will cover nearly everything....
  3. HOW do you suggest WPI then reads the file version info?
  4. Firts off your adding 64 bit drivers to a 32 bit system! This will error every time anyways. Second off the setup,2.exe is MOST likely erroring out because of the comma.....
  5. Did you try it EXACTLY like I POSTED??? The Post $OEM$ was modified for wpi.exe!
  6. Warez = Stolen or illegal software. You did NOT buy it! You do not own it! You stole it... This is not allowed here.
  7. You admit to having warez and using it, post a picture of said warez and then ask for help?
  8. We cannot or will not help you with warez!
  9. No he cannot it is still illegal actually.
  10. 1 = http://www.wpiw.net/downloads/Post_$OEM$.rar 2 = Extract to copied XP source (The XP cd contents) 3 = Make new BOOTABLE ISO 4 = DONE Questions?
  11. He is talking a live cd like the one you can build using UBCD4win. nLite cannot do this! http://www.ubcd4win.com/ <-- This is what you want.
  12. ccleaner as a regular maintenance can always help. AFAIK turning windows features on\off doesn't save space it just disables them and removes shortcuts... (In Win7 at least, I never tried) Edit: After a quick test turning windows features off does save a "little" bit of space. (Very little though)
  13. a = probably? Try ccleaner too b = Very limited ability from within windows c = nope, disabling also deletes d = as long as you aren't using something like adobe cs5 or similiar really intensive program 1gig is fine.
  14. The pic show 6gigs most likely because of low ram equalling a small pagefile and the hibernate file would be small too. Personally I set my pagefile to a static size after install of say 2,048megs (Just in case a random app actually calls for it) with 12 gigs ram you really don't even need a pagefile. Goto control panel --> System then click on the advanced system setting button. Then under the advanced tab select settings in the performance section. THEN under the advanced tab in the new window click on change and you will be at the pagefile section. NOW deselect the top checkbox and go down to the box. Click on custom size and set it to a static selection. (like 1024 - 1024) then click on set, apply and reboot. With a static pagefile your pagefile is less fragmentable. IF you don't use hibernate open an admin command prompt and enter "powercfg -h off" this will disable hibernate AND delete hiberfile!
  15. I was talking about windows default vaue jaclaz I just checked and windows has allocated 7,678megs of space for the pagefile. (Stupid, Bad Windows ) For 5 gigs of ram.
  16. Think: Pagefile = ram x 2.5 Hibernate file = Somewhat the same size as the page file. x64 = larger install size also. I have 5gigs ram and nearly 9 gigs of space is taken by the hibernate and pagefile files....
  17. Are you creating a answer file? Did you remove the cmd tools? Did you delete ANYTHING off of the iso? (Yes I KNOW you removed stuff from the wim with vlite) Also HOW sure are you the source is genuine?
  18. I have heard of cd-ish sized iso's 700-900 megs
  19. Hell vLite BARELY works with Win7 Gold! P.S. READ THE RULES! Asking for help with warez can get you banned....
  20. Couple of things: You MUST set ide mode in the bios. (You probably haven't) Also SATA (AHCI) mode has a great performance gain over IDE. You should always use it when able. The drivers are not for RAID only.
  21. Windows 7 Pro x86 with hibernate turned off is 6.02gigs right after a fresh install! (Turned off hibernate just after first boot.)
  22. ?? Where did you get that? ??
  23. Grabben Look here!
  24. ultramon is awesome! +1 for it...
  25. I cannot access that in ie or firefox at all... Edit disabled protections, rebooted and got it. Thanks for all yoru help.
