  1. X86 was working on one but, it has been deayed. INF's are not that hard to decompile more over just time consuming.
  2. They are refferencing the sub-folders, the doc folder and the plugins folder.
  3. Adding CD burnng support to PE can be tricky, My suggestion would be to either: 1. Use a partitioning program from inside PE to create her a partition to keep the files on. 2. Use an external hard drive, PE recognizes most USB 2 compliant devices with no issues, be it USB or Firewire <-- easiest of the two HTH
  4. Glad to you see you got it working.
  5. Well It has been released. Here is a screen: http://www.zer0-tec.net/likuidkewl/2003SRV1247.IDS.jpg
  6. I meant building sorry.
  7. If you are building with SP2 you might need to add some stuff, I don't know what files but someone told me they had to add some files, personally I don't know because I don't use it.
  8. I believe he is talking about the Qsoft Ramdiskincluded with Bart PE. That is the one that I use.
  9. If you are running WinPE 2004, create a file called winpeshl.ini in notepad insert your program path, your Nu2Menu path into it like this : save it to the system32 folder of your PE build. On next boot your nu2menu will run as the shell so if you close that it will reboot, this info can be found in the winpe.chm As for folder structure it really doesn't matter with this program. All of my programs are at root level in a foler called programs, so my winpeshl.ini looks like this And the xml answer file gets left in the nu2menu folder, and edit this as you would manually in BartPE. HTH
  10. I seem to have no problems unless the Image I am installing is on the same partition, then it says the drive is locked. But as long as the image is on the dvd or another partition you are fine, atleast for me.
  11. Have a look at your txtsetup.sif, here I see this: RequiredMemory = 67108864 Pagefile = 115,250 loaderprompt="I.R.A.S Loading...." <--Custom prog name maybe try playing with these, just make sure you save good backup. But you already knew that. //EDIT// Irrelevant see below...
  12. No problem. I noticed you modified your initial post saying you couldn't find what you were looking for, what is it you are looking for?
  13. Do you mean adding a RAM disk, if so I believe it was Spawn who posted a great little tutorial on how to do this.
  14. This is very easy, you can add the nu2menu to installation, I have done this, and then edit either the setupreg.hiv in the %PEDISK%\I386\System32 folder in regedit, or you can just add the nu2menu entry to the startnet.cmd the only downfall to this is the cmd window is still the active shell at this point and if you close its window your PE will reboot. I use WinPE 2004 for us, and if you have a legit license you should be able to aquire this Via your TAM or in an OEM 3 or 30 pack, because this version has a file called winpeshl.exe and you can launch the nu2menu or your own shell through the winpeshl.ini file. Your best bet is to look well through these forums as this has been covered by posts before yours. Almost everything you need is covered here, personally I have added the Nu2menu as my shell and modified Geoshell to run as a taskbar, as for programs we use: Partition Manager 6, Ghost, McAfee's command line scanner, K-Meleon web browser for last minute patches, filezilla for company FTP D/L's, etc. as you can see it is fairly easy to add programs to WinPE. HTH
  15. Add a dir like WXPP on the CD and then call winnt32.exe from a batch file Easily done with scripts Just have to try and see... Use the START /wait switch in your batch STARTNET.CMD
  16. You can, by using buildoptionalcomponents.vbs see your OPK docs for more info.
  17. I meant use Visual Studio, and I forgot the "f": VS for C++
  18. VS or C++ and if you need an answer file use a XML type anserfile hardcoding is not a good move, and it is easuer than registry entries.
  19. I posted you a reply in your other thread, but it seems to have been lost. You are missing entries from your Unattended answer file, for the auto drive slection and the like, also are you sure your dsikpart script works? Have you tried just running diskpart /s:your.txt just to see if it errors out? This should be the only thing that would do it.
  20. The one day I actualluy feel like posting replies to people and the server goes down. Oh well sucks for them...
  21. Press Windows + Pause keys simultaniously, Click on the advanced tab, Startup and Recovery button, select the Edit startup options manually, this will bring up your boot.ini file in notepad and you can then remove the LH entry in the boot menu. Then just make sure you return your boot.ini file to a normal boot like below, yours may differ depending on disk/partitions etc. [boot loader] timeout=30 default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS [operating systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect
  22. No where, I made it myself and have not released it... //EDIT// Ok I decied to release it with a little bit of modifications PEHex.rar
  23. If it is a enterprise deployment I would go MS PE. Also you didn't say where the .dll was being placed for the driver. Look in the OPK.chm in winpe 1.2, or winpe.chm in winpe 2004 for more info. Also check the pinned threads at the top they have a ton of useful info
  24. Ok, I am saying screw it with this. the reasons follow: 1.)The regedit in SP2 is farked and editting hives is next to impossible 2.)an Acronis image is only good on the PC it was made, try using it on another pc 3.)Ghost is proven to work with PE 4.)With all the additions needed for acronis my image was well over 300mbs -I have some other stuff also- 5.) I didn't find this out until after, that is your upgrade your TI8 it will kill your image if stored on your HD. (From standard to Server) The recovery CD won't work and niether will the press F11 at boot. so this is reason 5! So with that said, if anyone wants my files just ask and i will send them. //##EDIT##// Here is the link to them if you want them. http://www.zer0-tec.net/likuidkewl/ti_files.rar
