  1. I guess what you are asking is not the CMD.EXE /K, right you mean the winXP starting sceen?
  2. I have one that is close.... See image....
  3. You built it from an OEM disc didn't you?
  4. So you are looking for an autoupgrade kind of deal? Here is an option for you although it is not exactly what you are looking for, take another whole CD copy it to your HD then delete what is not needed via the slimming batch's mentioned above, then copy both distros to the iso, WXPP and WXPU, create your ISO with cdimage using the -o switch to optomize, this way you have the option to run Gosh's method of a clean format and then you have your upgrade method. This will cause the minimum amount of data neeed on the CD.
  5. You can just copy the whole CD, and then slim down from there, Because Gosh's method erases winnt32.exe no upgrade is possible, as you know, you can remove the language packs you don't need and the use jdeboeck's methods. Thus all of the upgrade information can be left intact.
  6. I think you forgot to do something...
  7. I would assume minint, because it is a hard drive
  8. I have actually never had an issue with my ISA server, I did go out and buy the "best damned firewall bookperiod", though due to the fact that I had troubl with the initial setup, this book was the greatest resource for me with the ISA 2000 server. But as for your actual question I don't see why the ISA server wouldn't allow you to use a third party firewall, it ask's you in the setup if that is what you want it to do. So I would say give it a shot and next time use a smaller font please.
  9. Woohoo, we just got a "new" Windows 2000 box at work! Yeah, so now we are at 1 NT4 box, 3 98se boxes(Micro-mini repair only, no net etc.), and 1 W2K, in my shop.
  10. Pic --CDIMAGE has alot more options but most of them arent used often.
  11. OSCDIMG.exe -help Not trying to be rude but if you have it this will tell you what all of them are. And if not just use CDImage and do the same cdimg.exe -help.
  12. use Reshacker or Resource Tuner EDIT-- I think it is STRING TABLE/82/1033/1300 Not positive, give it a shot...
  13. try recopying the file to the location and then reburn it with cdimage.
  14. cdimage can be downloaded from MSFN Unattended guide here: http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/finish.htm And OScdimage is only available on the windows OPK cd's from ms, so just use the one above.
  15. It is an external command line ISO builder, put out by Microsoft to it's internal people. But has since been released to the public in the OPK's renamed as OSCDIMG.exe
  16. I use CD Image to build ISO's very simple and effective.
  17. What are the boot options are the Pro and Home? Are you sure you deleted the partion information?
  18. It's not really an "error" in the sense of this is stopping me from doing anything, it is that I found it humorous.
  19. This happened when I tried to run any of the add-ons while using WinPE as a host. btw- gosh I appreciate the picture..
  20. Well then try the old RTM(pre SP1) way of doing it then.
