Most have tried and been snubbed by Microsoft for this beta, but yet some of the moron's I saw in the news groups and chats during this beta would amaze you.

Because I am on the beta, so i got it on the 17th. So who is willing to mirror it and I will upload it.

If I was one of you guys I would set a download manger to try get it around 5am EST then most everyone is in bed still.

What you should probably do is look at the other shells out and see what they use, ie. black box, geoshell, etc. That way you know prety much already what works and doesn't, so from there you can streamline your shell, and save yourself some trouble. Just my two cents.

That is true only NT based OS's support PE, but with the method of fully booting winpe and then loading the executable via a script poiting to the install file in 95/98/ME.

Will the PE allow diagnostics? If so will this be an option during the bootup process or will this simply be a WinPE based installation?

I am glad you like it, I was on the Beta for that, Update V4, and man that was a pain, but all is good now. And yes it is very useful for dialup users.

There was a thread about this somewhere else but I don't remember where, your boot screen can only display i think it is 256 colours, I could be wrong though, it might be less.
